I used AeroGarden previously, but Click and Grow has addressed several of its shortcomings: 1. It simplifies the growing process — there’s no need to set timers or add fertilizer manually. 2. It’s much cleaner. AeroGarden can get quite messy as plants grow larger, with fertilizer stains and extensive root cleanup required. The design of Click and Grow is both stylish and practical, built to last — no LCD screen that might malfunction, and the light arms are sturdy. Some users have mentioned that the far-right pod receives less light, but this is an easy fix: simply rotate that pod with another so all plants receive even lighting and grow uniformly.

I bought this a few months ago and waited to get a full experience before I gave my feedback. Overall, it's not bad. My initial reasoning for purchasing the Click & Grow garden was because of the lack of sufficient light in my work office. So far I have grown Sweet Allyssums which grew rather fast. I saw sprouts in a matter of 2-3 days. It was really exciting to watch these little guys grow. I am now considering on transplanting them so I can start growing some herbs. I've noticed that over time the 'smart' soil gets a bit moldy from the moisture. I'm not sure if this is just an issue that I'm solely encountering or if this is an issue shared by others. Either way, it hasn't seemed to really affect the growth of the plant. (Sweet Alyssums) The App is okay. It's not necessary and is more supplemental to the Click and Grow than anything. It is helpful for reminding you when to water the garden and giving helpful little tips. You can also use it to track the growth of your plants with it's provided camera app and gallery. But when all is said and done, you could go without it. The garden isn't smart as far using digital technology, the app doesn't control the garden. The garden simply sustains itself with the water tank and the lamp. Taking care of the garden is pretty manageable. The tank will need to be refilled about every two weeks and the app will remind you when to water the plants. The lamp that helps grow the plants is on it's own timer, which can only be set when you plug in the garden. It would be nice to set a specific time on when the lamp turns on. The timer resets when you unplug it the garden and then will restart the cycle when you plug it back in. Overall it's been a great experience and I'm looking forward to growing more herbs and plants.

My household which is just me owns several of these click and grow planters and I love them! I stand by this brand for the attractiveness of their product and ease of use.

This was the perfect Christmas gift for one of my loved ones. It's really easy to use and comes with detailed instructions. This kit came with basil and it grew surprisingly quick. It has a really high quality grow light and actually looks cute in the kitchen. The grow light can go taller as your plant grows. Their website also has more herbs to buy from. Definitely worth the money especially if you're always killing the herb plants from the grocery store.

Awesome way to grow herbs and such indoors.

I've been using my Click and Grow for the past couple of weeks and I can't get over how much my basil plants have grown! Here is why I recommend this product to anyone that has had problems growing herbs of their own... 1. Setting up the Click and Grow is very, very easy. The instructions are simple to follow and there are only a few pieces that need to be put together. 2. Adding and maintaining the water levels is a snap. The water does seem to last quite a while but I still check the water tank level daily. 3. The lights work on a timer of their own. I didn't have to set a timer at all. The lights also have an extender for when the plants start to gain some height. I just added my first extender this week! The picture shown is of my basil plants two weeks in. I can't believe how quickly they have grown. I see fresh pesto in my future within the next two weeks!

This has been the best purchase I've had! We were able to have fresh herbs all winter. I would say the length of life of the basil, sage, and parsley are definitely longer than what is outlined in the kit. With proper care, and weekly use of the herbs, you can have your plants for MUCH longer. Planted 151 days ago (at time of writing this review) and are still getting fresh herbs from our pods. The app is also amazing, and really helpful for growing herbs or plants you haven't done before. We've decided to stick with our Click and Grow rather than planting basil and parsley outside this summer. We'll be using that area of the garden for something else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Edit: It's now June 2021 and the pods were planted in November 2020. They have finally died. We were able to enjoy fresh sage, basil, and Italian parsley the entire winter and spring.

Love this, it's literally just assemble and forget about it! The pods included were for basil and they started growing within a couple of weeks of set up. I also ordered Holy Basil that started growing around the same time. I'm currently waiting on the experimental pod to sprout but that may be a seed issue more than a product issue and that can't be blamed on this product. Definitely recommend it as a gift for a plant lover in your life or as a treat for yourself if you're looking for a quick and easy way to bring some greenery or healthier choices into your life!

very satisfied. The first one i have was given to me as a Christmas gift. i have purchased 3 more since then, one for myself one each for my son and daughter. I have tomatoes , strawberries and hot peppers growing as well as oregano, basil and thyme, even though the thyme took a long time to start growing. my son and daughter has had great success with theirs as well. Great product!!!!!!!!!!!

This literally take the guesswork out of germinating, i've even used it to germinate some CBD seeds which from what i understand is difficult. Even so both CBD seeds came right up and were ready for replanting. If you struggle to germinate seeds this is definitely the way to go.

This product is basically perfect. The design of it looks wonderful in my kitchen. The packaging is clean-lined and clever. Assembly is easy as pie and then everyday i get to watch my sweet little seedlings get a little bigger. No complaints at all except that i wish i had space for many, many more units :) My boyfriend teaches Grade 2 and he is planning to buy a few units for his classroom - so brilliant for children. We couldn't be happier with Click & Grow!
