Our Mason bees love these tubes, and we have been using them for many years now. The 6” tubes are the perfect size for our little bee home of approximately 100 bees, year after year. So far, we have not had any problems with these tubes, especially after learning the proper way to harvest/extract and clean the cocoons in October/November for hibernation until next spring.

I’m beginning to learn about Mason Bees. These tubes will be used to “house” Mason Bee critters. A new adventure!!!

I have used this band before and they work well for one season. Don't let them get wet though. The bees do take a bit of time to get used to the new tubes though. In the beginning of the season they are picky. Later-on, they don't care, they just use them.

Tubes "filled in" voids to help stabilize the Bee hotel. Just slipped them in between the chunks of drilled firewood pieces. A dab of glue on a few helped hold loose ones together.
