I bought this machine for making bras. It works so well with the fine fabric. I am so very happy with it. I made a quilt using the fancy stitches in just a few days. And I am also using it for making clothing. I am happy with the price, there is a whole lot of machine and goodies in here for a reasonable price. A comparable machine from the sister line is 4 or 5 times as much. It is quiet. Everything is programable. The online manual is extensive. Download it, the workbook, and quick start guide. It will save you headaches. I made a note book. I personally really really like my Bernette b77. It is fun to sew on. My bobbin winder makes the nicest bobbins. The top load bobbin case is such a luxury. It automatically makes button hole. Just pop the button into the foot, pull down the buttonhole tab select which buttonhole design and press the pedal, dont stop it will stop on its own. Pretty much that sums up the machine..lit does it all for you. You just make sure the fabric stays even. It is revolutionary, from my old manual 11 stitches do it all yourself machine. .

The shipping was great, came in its box though so be careful if ordering for a gift. Easy set up but you’ll have to print a comprehensive manual on your own from the Bernina website. If you plan on free motion quilting you will need a straight stitch plate for best results, which isn’t included so keep that in mind. Overall, it’s a solid machine, you will have to play with it to learn but it has the qualities of a Bernina on a budget which is really nice.

How do I count the ways! The box was badly damaged, I'm surprised it didn't fall out of the bottom. First, I could' get it registered through the company. Then things started happening. I have ordered a new bobbin case because the thread keeps bunching up around the bobbin. It skipped stitches... and NOW I'm two days short of sending it back for a full refund. I'll stick with my old Bernina that I've had for 25 years.
