Movo MV-RC100 3.5mm Male Line-in to Male Microphone Attenuator Cable for HDSLR Cameras

Gear: Sony ZV-1 - Mic: Rode Videomicro Compact I've ordered one cable (at first) to replace the Rode cable since it's not shielded enough, causing a bit of static noise. The Movo MV-RC100 had the "Microphone Attenuator Cable" in the name, and it came recommended by YouTubers for the Sony ZV-1. It didn't work 🤣 - I had to increase the "audio rec level" to the max, to barely hear my voice, and ofc the static noise got A LOT STRONGER & LOUDER. (vs the Rode original cable, audio rec level at 11 with great voice & can barely hear the static noise). So I've returned it and ordered another 2 cables, hoping that one of them would work. Same story. I've tried them on my friend's DSLR; didn't work too. Maybe it's my bad luck - but that's my experience. Good luck to you all & I hope you'll find your cable. Happy recording.

Wichtiges Kabel um mein Rode Wireless Go II an ein Mischpult anzuschließen. Der Preis erscheint mir aber viel zu hoch. Unverständlich, dass es anscheinend kein preiswerteres Konkurrenzprodukt gibt.

Just what I needed. Works as described make sure you use it the right way around. black plug end goes into source output, fancy thicker plug end goes into line input. I got a Ugreen female 3.5mm to male dual RCA adapter to plug this attenuator into to complete the connection. -35dB attenuation is enough to stop the line input overload and distortion. You will need to turn the amp gain up so the amp will have higher power consumption but better than horrible distortion damaging your amp and woofer. keep in mind I am using this for the woofer amp only with crossover in the amp. So bass sounds only. Can say I don’t notice any difference in bass quality before and after other than distortion is gone. Only think I would improve is adding stress relief to both ends of adapter. It will be more durable that way. You can diy this with some heatshrink. 5/5 works as described.
