OneTigris Tangram UL Double Backpacking Tent

I've been looking for a new tent for a while and have done a lot of research. Ordered this tent as a trial to see how it would work and I am pleased with the build quality. It is good material. Set up was easy for anyone who has set up a trekking pole tent before. It is definitely more a comfortable one man and gear tent but like every other 2 man tent out there so I wasn't surprised and was expecting that. I haven't used it in the weather to see how it holds up to rain but the seams are all tape sealed and stitching is nice. I am 6' and fit perfectly in the nest.

I took mine out this last weekend! This tent is more for a single person. It’s not considered UL because it’s about 4 pounds and isn’t compact in size. This is great for a beginner trekking pole tent. The Lanshan is lighter and smaller, but it doesn’t have the the T-Zipper opening fully on both sides with two vestibules. This can also be set up with fly only and/or netting only. The netting is very fine mesh. The zippers easily open. The newer version has directions for set up attached to the bag inside. It comes with all the stakes/pegs needed. I experienced a lot of wind on my overnighter, but the tent held up great. I tried it first without the extra guylines and then added them. The extra guylines make an incredible difference against the wind. I couldn’t get a perfect pitch because the wind was blowing so hard at setup. The inside mesh was a little droopy, but manageable. I still need to play with it. This tent is seam taped on the inside. I can’t say anymore for just one night, but looking for many more adventures with this tent!!

The one and only reason I gave it a 4 star is because this thing isn’t the easiest to set up and have a tight pitch. But very nice tent. Packs good and a ton of room for one person. Can do two ppl but u better really like the person ur with. Vestibule has good bit of room. If anyone is looking for a light weight tent I would recommend this one
