2252 Roller brush belt replacement parts

Unless your motor on your vacuum goes out you can usually repair it easily and cheaply. There were 6-7 or seven screws I needed to take out of the bottom piece to the the belt was broken and the brush was damaged as well. They easily popped out and these went in pretty easy as well. There is going to be a lot of tension coming from the belt when you put it in. It's strong enough to handle it. Make sure you clean everything out as well. The intake value was also clogged. After getting it back together it worked like new.

Anyone in my household who vacuums (rarely) seem to think that burning rubber is a natural occurrence. After they trap a hairpin or paper lip or whatever, they just keep vacuuming. The next effort is met with “This vacuum is a piece of junk “ (since the belt burned thru and the roller no longer turns. In actuality all upright vacuums need a kill switch on the handle so the machine can be stopped immediately by anyone who is astute enough to know there is a problem.

So far so good. Fits my Bissell 9595A, but is a hair too long so I had to kinda squeeze it in, but it works. The included belt however is an inch too short (included belt is 15 inches in circumference), but I used my old one (about 14 inches). There were supposed to be two belts, and I got one, but whatever. The little hair removal tool plastic though the ad makes it look like metal. All came straight from China, but what can I say it's a great price. Vacuum runs quiet now. BTW you can pull the ends off this brush roll and replace the bearings inside...I've done that once with my last one before it burned up completely.

This item arrived as pictured. It fit my bissel power Lyft swivel pet vacuum like it should. I couldn’t get the band on it though but my old band was still good. The new one was just a little too tight and not really stretchy for me to get on the vacuum. I’ll have to have someone else put it on for me. Other than that it works as it should for replacement parts.

Belt is the wrong size for model 2252. much too small causing too much tension between the roller and motor shaft. After replacing and turning my vacuum on, the brush roller didn't spin, and about 3 seconds later I could smell what happened. Belt melted immediately from the friction. The brush is correct for that model, but the belt was trash. Should have just ordered genuine parts from Bissell. Now I have to get rid of the burnt rubber smell and melted rubber residue.

The Roller /Brush unit is a Perfect fit!! Thank You! However the belt that was sent was an inch too short. It may possibly work for another model But certainly not mine. Luckily my belt was still in decent shape. It was the main roller that I needed as the plastic (bearing) wore out. I simply replaced the roller with my belt and everything worked great! My brushes were worn down as well as the bearing. Overall I am happy with my purchase. When my belt finally gives out, it has a number on it so I can get the proper size. Thank You.

I installed the new belt and brush roller and it ran like a new vacuum!!! Easy to replace, fit perfectly, came timely in great condition and was a good price!!!
