These are good ammo pouches. And an excellent way to carry and protect extra ammo. I bought these specifically for my 45/70 ammo. The pouches are made from ripstop nylon. With military style snap closures. The top of the pouches have a loop handle. While the back of the pouches have two belt type attachment's, both with snap button closures. So it's easy to connect them to most anything. An ammo belt, rifle sling. Virtually anything you want. Also the elastic closure with the military style clip closure, wraps completely around the ammo pouch adding yet another option for carrying the ammo pouch. These are excellent for carrying your ammo and keeping it covered and protected. And easily accessible. For the price, absolutely fantastic. Very slim profile, even loaded with 45/70 shells. They will fit in the back of my Levi's. I would recommend these to any and everyone that uses bolt action or lever action rifles, as a quick way to access additional ammo. For the price I don't think you can own too many. Great for shooters bags. These would work for many calibers of ammo. .30 caliber and up.

Well, well, well, look who's got a Taurus Judge Magnum! That's right, it's me! And let me tell you, this baby is a beast. But don't take my word for it, just check out the photograph of my ammo situation. You see that top row? That's where I keep my 45 long colt ammo. And down there on the bottom row? Those are my preferred 2-1/2 inch .410 shells. Now, some folks might be wondering why I didn't go for the 3 inch shells that are also compatible with this model. Well, let me tell you, it's all about the fit, baby. And this particular ammunition pouch is an excellent fit for those 3 inch shells. So if you're looking for a gun that can handle some serious firepower and keep your ammo organized to boot, then you might want to consider getting yourself a Taurus Judge Magnum. Just make sure you get yourself a good ammo pouch too! Unfortunately, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. I have a slight issue with the elastic band used for the clip. Uh-oh! Apparently, it's not heavy duty and doesn't feel very durable. Yikes! That's like saying your armor is made of paper mache. But wait, there's more! I am confident enough to take it on a test run on the motorcycle. Bravo! But hold your horses, folks because I wouldn't feel comfortable having it clipped to my person and trying to wrestle with it. I mean, who would want to wrestle with an elastic band? Unless you're Hulk Hogan or Macho Man Randy Savage, brother! Looks like we have a four-star review here. Not too shabby, but let's not break out the champagne just yet. If this product or service keeps impressing me for the next six months, I might just have to come back and give it that fifth star it so desperately craves. But hey, no pressure! Keep doing what you're doing and we'll see how it goes.

I use this when backpacking my hunting gear to my deer stand. I used to use a plastic ammo box, and just couldn’t tolerate the ammo rattling while sneaking to my blind. This solved my problem. Have used it to carry enough cartridges for a hunt; both .270Win and .308 calibers.

Great for holding additional ammo for revolvers and lever actions. They will contain from 357 to 45-70.

These are the best. Made in America with excellent workmanship. I bought 2...1 to hold 45 long colt and the other for 410 shotgun rounds. Liked them so much I will be ordering probably 4 more.

When I go to the rifle range I feel like I'm carrying everything I own. Anything that cuts down on your load helps. This cartridge carrier holds 14 rounds of my 45-70 ammo perfect. 14 rounds is plenty when you're shooting 500 grain bullets from one of my lever actions off a bench! I fill this thing and put it in my range bag and don't worry about the rounds getting lost, bounced around and dinged. Great price, nylon webbing is good in humid areas. Leather looks good, but holds moisture. Will probably buy a couple more.

No more shuffling plastic holders, ammo falling out, rattling all over the dash and cup holders!! Slap this bad boy on your belt and forget about it until the time comes! Gets a bit bulky when totally full, so if I'm going light I just fill one half. Seems well-built, good loops with velcro on the back/inside that keeps it in place on your belt (although may damage/rub some belt materials?) and a solid clip (thick plastic) on a elastic strap, this "can" be opened/closed quietly with some care. Best of all, half the price of any store where I've seen it "on sale".

Not great, not terrible. It serves its purpose fine.

Overall looks like it’s well made with tight seams and strong elastic loops to hold cartridges. Cartridges are held tightly by the loops so nothing rattling around or slipping out. Have tried fitting .223 to 45-70 and all fit without an issue. The two belt loops have snap closures, lined with Velcro and large enough to fit a battle belt.
