Very high quality (unlike my chess game), particularly for the money. The pieces are solid. The board is solid. The pieces store beautifully and securely. Beware that it was shipped it its own box. In other words, everyone who saw the package knew that it was a chess set, even my son who went out to the delivery truck and for whom I purchased it as a birthday gift. He's a great kid and pretended to act surprised when he opened it a day or two later.

The chess & checkers set is excellent and meets all my expectations. The finishing is well done, and despite the long shipping distance & duration, the package arrived in perfect condition, no damage, dents, or cracks. I’m truly happy with the product and highly recommend this great seller!

This was a special gift for my grandson and it was damaged when he opened it. I’m very disappointed as I paid over $100 and feel it should have arrived in mint condition without defects.
