Works for my neurodivergent kid
The Snug Kids Earmuffs have been a helpful tool in reducing noise for my neurodivergent toddler who has sensory sensitivities. While they don’t completely block out sound, they do a great job of subduing noise in overstimulating environments which is especially useful in public places to help prevent sensory dysregulation. That said, my daughter can only keep them on for about 10 minutes before they become uncomfortable, but even that short amount of time is valuable for us during high-sensory moments. They’re lightweight, foldable, and easy to store in our diaper bag. The cute design makes my daughter more willing to wear them, which is a bonus. The price is affordable, and while the quality is average, they get the job done for occasional sensory regulation needs.

Perfect for the price
These are perfect for my toddlers head and covers his ears quite well. Helped with minimizing the sound of fireworks. He is not a fan of them just yet

4.5 stars.
Works well for definite noise reduction but can still hear muffled noise. Comfortable. Fits child and average adult head. Child with noise sensitivity has used on airplane, during fire works, fire drill, napping, etc. Good quality.

Highly recommended
Work great and as expected, easy for the kids to put on and off and they are compact enough to fit in a smaller bag or small kids back pack. Highly recommend

Arrived damaged; strong band tension makes it harder for small hands to use
We had already purchased the Muted brand ear protection for our 7 year old son who is sensitive to loud noises. When our daughter started preschool she complained about the noise so we decided to get another pair for her. These Snug earmuffs had such a cute design and since they get tons of good reviews we decided to try them out. The Snug earmuffs arrived in one of those unpadded Amazon plastic bag/envelopes. The earmuffs were out of the box and the box itself was flattened. As another reviewer noted, the letters on the headband were already peeling off, the pleather was scuffed and had a hole in it, and the hard plastic on the earpiece was damaged (see pics). I do not know if this was due to Amazon's packaging or if the product is just poor quality or maybe a little of both. We decided to try these on her to make sure they fit before returning/reordering and discovered that they were noticeably harder to put on than the Muted brand due to the stronger tension in the band. I tried on both pairs and here's a quick comparison: - Both blocked sound about the same (could barely hear music playing at low volume but definitely could still hear the kids yelling). - Muted brand was more comfortable, probably because the lower band tension meant less pressure on the side of my head. I think if the Snug earmuffs had arrived in good condition we probably would have kept them, but since I'm uncertain about quality we decided to return and order a different pair of the Muted earmuffs. Also, the Muted earmuffs come with a storage pouch, which has been nice to have.

Cute but tight-fitting
My autistic son doesn't wear these often. With that being said, I've put them on, and the sound reduction is amazing! They are unfortunately tight-fitting, and I think that's why my son doesn't wear them.
