Working well for over a year now (bought in April, 2024). I use Zinc-carbon cell for this but that does not last for more than 2-3 months. I do not use Alkaline battery since I have heard from an experienced clock seller that such batteries may suddenly stop the clock.

I waited to review this until some "time" had passed but it's still working like a dream. I absolutely LOVE this clock. I was freshening up my home office and needed to replace one that wasn't working. After reading all the reviews I took a chance on the 12". It's so attractive out of the box! The numbers are large and easy to read - the second hand gently sweeps around and makes no sound. You won't be disappointed.

This clock is really nice and quiet. The clock I had before drove me crazy with all the ticking. I hung it on my kitchen wall. See the photo.
