Awesome!
This is an ultralight bivy that works awesomely. Super in every way. I take it with me every time just in case. It’s so small and lightweight to fit in any of my packs, haversack, or belt bag. This has been used in heavy storms and have always I have come out dry. Big enough to fit any sleeping bag with sleep mat. I still use a ground cloth under it just in case. But don’t think it’s needed.

Highly Recommend but Check the Item You Receive
I have purchased a few of these for various kits and they have all performed flawlessly until this most recent one. When I received it, it was packaged differently than the others, it was packaged in a different stuff sack than the previous ones, had different tags and most importantly it was not as durable as it somehow got multiple tears in it before I even got to use it the first time. When I noticed the packaging was different I should have sent it back and got another one, but I thought maybe the packaging had just changed. I was wrong! The other 3 have been amazing and again like I said have performed flawlessly under some pretty serious situations. Assuming your get the actual SnugPak brand version with no funny business they are worth purchasing despite the high price tag which is steep but it does fluctuate I’ve noticed. I have tried other Bivvy bags and they are either much heavier (military versions) or not as breathable and create condensation (AQ Pharaoh). These SnugPak brand ones do not create condensation and are surprisingly very breathable while being waterproof. They have paired very nicely with multiple mummy bags I have used and the Helikon-Tex Swagman Roll. I still maintain the 5 star rating because when you get the real deal you most certainly will not be disappointed!

Great Bivvy bag for cowboy camping
The bivvy bag is well made and light weight compared to the military bivvy bag I am use to. The price is at it's lowest from what I have seen in a long time at $145.63 with tax and delivery. The only issue or design flaw is the draw string at the head of the bag. It does not close properly or easily. I had to pop two new holes and re-route the cord to close it properly and more easily. Once I made that modification the bivvy bag worked fine. The zipper moves easily. I can fit my top quilt into the bag and then slide myself in fairly easy. You can use the bivvy as a floor liner under your air mattress on hot days. The bivvy and stuff sack weigh 332g or 11.7oz. Bivvy stuff sack has a nice design with a Velcro handle to pull out easily from inside your bag or use the Velcro handle to secure the bag on the outside of your pack. Highly recommend this bivvy sack.

Nice Bivvi, but Expensive!
I was looking for a very lightweight bivvi to add to a lightweight, minimalist lumbar pack. This bivvi came highly recommended by a close associate and I believe this will work great! The positive: - Very lightweight and compact - Fairly durable, but not like MSS Bivvi Gore-Tex durable (but also much less weight than Gore-Tex--acceptable tradeoff - Center zipper--makes getting in and out of the bivvi nice and easy - Snug, but roomy enough without feeling crammed. I'm 5'10" and 190lbs. - Breathable (supposedly), but the inner coating makes me wonder just how breathable to appropriately vent perspiration. I guess we'll see. - Great quality. All the stitching is excellent! - Cinchable hood The negative: - Expensive! - Expensive! - Expensive! - Did I mention expensive? I don't know how Snugpak justifies the price for this bivvi! I guess it's just one of those buy-and-cry-once items., but it's no less frustrating! It really is a nice, compact, lightweight product that gives you no excuse to not carry a bivvi sack as part of a shelter system, even with smaller set-ups like minimalist lumber packs. This bivvi compacts down very small and is very lightweight. Coupled with my woobie, this bivvi will work excellent as part of my lightweight shelter system.

pure quality
love the material. completely waterproof. 0% breathable. which i was expecting. size is perfect for a insulated pad and 2 sleeping bags. zipper constantly wants to zip down so i'll have to stick a bit of velcro that i have around and it should be good to go. understandable why it's there; for faster escapes from your bag but for convenience sake, i'll put a bit of velcro at the top as a stopper. 10/10 from me. feels durable. snugpak makes great products.

They can't be serious. Worst Snugpak product ever.
What were they thinking? this thing is paper thin, single stitched, uses cheap zippers, and offers absolutely no insulation whatsoever. In an emergency you could use it to protect yourself from the elements, but I can do the same thing with my poncho for a third of the cost, and wear it as well. Some people say you can use it in conjunction with a swagman, but mine is already waterproof and again a poncho is a much more versatile. rugged, and less expensive option. I can't think of any situation this would be useful for and am really disappointed with Snugpak for even making this thing. I got mine for $100 and wouldn't even consider keeping it, so I really feel for those people who spent more. Ignore the Youtube people pitching this thing becuase they have some interest in the company. It's not even worth $20, in my opinion, and I wouldn't recommend it or buy it again.

Outstanding!
I also ordered the Jungle bag, Fleece liner and 2 Jungle blankets to complete the system. The blankets are a little overkill but l'd rather have it and not need it. (You get the idea. )
