I bought the 16" model. Lines are helpful with line-up of the ball as well as my eye positioning. I was surprised how far inside the ball I had been lining up. Now with practice, I am feeling comfortable lining up with my eyes closer to the ball. It does help me see the line better. The metallic surface reflects fine, so I can see my eyes clearly in the mirror. I have been putting on a mat, so can't comment on how it works on the grass. Based on my experience, I would expect it to work fine on the grass. This is a pretty minimal investment for a really good aid.

This is a low cost, effective training tool that improves your posture, squares your putter head/blade and places your eyes directly over the ball. You could spend hours on a putting green and still not get decent results when playing. With this device your putting should dramatically improve and help you avoid those three putt greens.

Overall great product and helped me quickly see my eyes were WELL inside of the putt line. Instant feedback and a great practice tool. Knocked off one star because the slots where you can put tees to make a “gate” are SLIGHTLY too narrow for plastic tees and it kept knocking it slightly off line when I’d stick tees in. Took numerous attempts before I could line it up perfectly with tees. Without tees the product works great and stays in place. For the price, highly recommend.
