I have tried a couple of other paddles and haven't really been that happy with them. These paddles were on the less expensive side, like $20-$25. I finally decided to jump up to the next level paddle, a carbon fiber one. I can honestly say, this paddle is very sturdy and lightweight! I have used it for a few months now, with lots of long excursions and I have been very happy with how it performs in the water. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that I am disappointed the design on the paddle is a sticker. I have concerns that over time it may begin to peel away from the paddle or possibly begin to fade. If this happen, I will update my review but so far....so good. I should note, I am newbie to kayaking but have spent a lot of time on the water for a short season here in Maine.

I’m new to kayaking. These paddles are AMAZING. I had zero issues getting comfortable with them, they are light weight and come in a bag to store. Not to mention the color selections because this is an investment and I want to have the paddles I want!

I bought a pair of these for my wife and I. I ordered the paddle length according to their chart which is based on the kayak's width and your height. I'm sure it works in general, but it did not in our case. I'm 6'-3" and she's 5'-0" and thus I ordered her a shorter paddle. It was clear on our very first trip that hers was too short. We swapped paddles and she was much happier with mine so I returned hers and we now have two alike expect the colors. Once we had the correct length, we love these paddles. They can be clocked for a different attack angle, and also for a RH or LH paddler. The carbon-fiber shaft is light weight which is the name of the games with a paddle. They have lots of color choices too, which is a nice touch.

This is a great paddle. Well made and balanced. Adjustment and breakdown feature is exact and solid, with no play whatsoever. Color is spot on to what is advertised. Paddles are sealed very well where they mount to the handle so there is no water intrusion.

I have a kayak that has an elevated seat so the 230 paddles felt too short. This one is a tiny bit longer and it felt great on the water. I think it is USA made and it is a good price. It is actually lighter than my other brand carbon fiber paddle. I bought the red one and the colors are bright and vibrant. I am happy with this purchase.

I have been paddling for over 20 years. I have 8 kayaks and we use them all. I always envied the carbon fiber paddles, but never wanted to pay the $300..I lost a paddle at a launch and saw this one. for $99. I took a chance and its GREAT !! Light as can be and solid !! ! I swear it paddles better than all my others .Has a smooth entry and less resistance through the stroke. We passed it around at our last paddle and 1 more was ordered. Will probably get 2 more over the winter. If you are on the fence about a carbon fiber you will NOT be disappointed by the Best.. Die Paddel sind topp, da gibts nichts zu deuten. Wer die gleiche Qualität woanders sucht, der zahlt das Doppelte! Wir haben die Paddel auf längeren Touren ausgiebig getestet und sie für gut befunden, grade Einsteiger machen hier garantiert nichts falsch. Einzig, dass die Paddel nicht auf 30 Grad verstellbar sind ist schade. Vor allem aber die Leichtigkeit fällt positiv auf und das auch noch ein Schlaufe mitgeliefert wurde ist spitze.

This paddle is awsome and so light. It makes a hugh difference to my old one. Worth every penny! Would defiantly recommend for an inflatable kayak 🛶🛶
