The can is strong and durable. The spout leaks. I will save you the time of reading all the reviews like I did. Most people will all agree these cans are superior to the generic cans and well constructed even you you look at the welding. Handle has full welding bead unlike other ones with just spot welding. The cans themselves are heavy and strong you can just feel it. Also since you are putting gas you want to make sure no issues it something knocks it or can falls by accident. This is a heavy duty can for sure. The only issue is the spout which has plastic tip that tends to break and leak like most will tell you.. I used Hvac tape on mine where metal spout connects to plastic as a work around. But plastic spout also jams sometimes and breaks. I took off one start because the spout was the only issue. Wavian probably saved $1.00 by giving us a plastic spout I would of rather you charge me the extra dollar. This is all ready 2 to 3x times the generic ones so I'm not sure why wavian couldn't invest more into a better spout. Hope this was helpful is so please hit the helpful button so I know i helped someone. Please don't just be a ninja reader and sneak away.

love it, they are tough and durable, and arent made of the cheaper steels I've heard of the knock offs are made from. they cost more, but oh boy, do I feel secure that they'll be kept and stored very well, in fact I filled one a little too much, and the seal was such a good hermetic seal, that when I went to open them during the summer I go sprayed a bit with the gas because of the mild pressure build up, and because I filled it just a little bit above the designated fill line. there's a reason they put those little details on them, to avoid silly mistakes like the one I made. all the same, very pleased in general with their service, but be careful they seem to slowly leak gas (VERY SLOWLY) if kept on their side (I left one in the trunk of the toyota, and it fell over and I didnt think anything of it until after winter, when I found out that it was empty, and left a gas smell in the trunk, and it kinda stunk up the car for a few months after wards until the smell was finally gone) but other than that they keep the gas very well, quite a hermetic seal if stored upright.

Here's a polished version of your Amazon seller feedback. I've retained your original points but made the tone clearer and more professional, while keeping the urgency and frustration intact: --- This is going to cost me thousands of dollars!!! I purchased two green 5-gallon diesel Jerry cans and two red gasoline cans. I've only used the green cans for diesel fuel, which doesn’t require rotation as often as gasoline. I filled them for the first time last fall and refilled them again this spring. Wanting to rotate the fuel once more, I opened the first green can to show my son how to pour it into the truck without scratching it. The fuel looked normal and smelled fine. Since both cans were bought and filled at the same time, I had no reason to believe the second one would be any different. I then asked my son to get the spout for the second green Jerry can and repeat the process. He emptied it into my 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 High Country. After he was done, he left the can open because he couldn’t figure out how to close it properly. When I came over a few minutes later, I noticed the inside of the can was completely orange-red with rust and oxidation. I explained the issue to ChatGPT, which suggested the most likely cause was that the interior of the second can was never treated or coated properly before shipping. Now I’m facing a potential bill of over a thousand dollars just to have the fuel drained, the fuel injectors inspected, the fuel lines flushed, a new filter installed, and all the labor (at around $250/hour). And that’s assuming no damage was done to the injectors themselves—which, if replacement is needed, could cost over $10,000 for this vehicle. All of this happened because I trusted that these cans were manufactured with proper quality controls in place. Absolutely unacceptable. Ugh. I don't expect the seller to pay for these damages, but 2 new Jerry can (properly inspected before being shipped to me at no cost would go a long way to helping to make this right at their level).

Wavian makes the finest fuel can money can buy. The product deserves 5stars. I put two orders in, two cans at a time. The first two cans arrives in a cardboard box with some newspapers stuffed in. They beat the heck out of themselves and chipped the paint off. The second pair arrived, sleeved in thick plastic bags, in their own boxes, situated within a larger box. This is how I’ve gotten them from WavianUSA. Paying $100-120 per can, I expect the cans to be in better shape on arrival. Did you just forward a return or something? They were also both missing the little white inserts that now come in the cans standard.
