These work perfect. Too many of these bad reviews are people using them incorrectly and getting the natural consequences. 1. The tunnels are thin silicone. It prevents you from putting the bigger size in and causing a blowout as it will fold. They are not meant for fresh streches. Wear the acrylic for a week or so the weight creates the space you need for the silicone tunnels to work. (I mean it please don't add to a fresh strech it will fuse to your ear) 2. Wait and wait longer then that. I'm writing a review almost 2 years after purchase I have gone all the way to the top. No blowouts, no infections. Acrylic isn't a streachers best friend but it's cheaper that comes with some downsides. Micro tears are bigger. You have to go slower. And they can hold bacteria. Clean them.

Used these to stretch my lobes back up to 20mm, worked like a charm, and having the comfy silicones included to wear (after stretch fully heals, if any swelling/tear occurs, otherwise silicone will fuse to wounds as its biocompatable) was a really nice touch. I feel like everyone at this point in stretching should know this but DO NOT WEAR THE TAPERS, you use the tapers (spikes) to slide up to the next size, ideally you will slide the taper in, then hold the plug of the same size to the round end, and continue to push the taper (with plug on end) right through so you're just wearing the plugs. Wearing tapers can cause uneven weight distribution on the lobe making thinning and bottoming out somewhat more likely) I would deffinetly reccomend these to someone who's taking their time stretching (ie: not gonna tear their lobes by stretching too quick and then wearing acrylics/silicone) and not looking to break the bank on Titanium or Surgical Stainless Steel jewelry that you're just gonna swap out to stretch in a month or two Only thing that sucks is that the set doesn't just go all the way to one inch, but that's barely an inconvenience as at that point as you can more than likely deadstretch after 20mm, allowikg you to just buy the plugs/tunnels of next size(atleast with my lobes, this is my 3rd time passing 1 inch
