Summary: Had so many other models with spring hinges and locks that fail after a short period and fall apart. With this design, looks like that will not happen. Works for lower to medium weight items. They open far enough to grab a frozen 1/4lbs burger patty across the diameter. Easily sit in the silverware bin in the dishwasher unlike other spring&Lock versions that take up a lot of space open and don't get cleaned well while locked closed. All in all, very happy!!

These tongs are awesome and easy to handle cuz of its slim width! They are skinny and the lightness to the tongs makes it easy and comfy to grasp onto the utensil! These work great. But if you have non stick pans be very careful. It will scratch your pots. But they are very good tongs.

I love these. I gave a pair to my mom, and all of my kids! They are so much easier to use that big, awkward tongs, and these really grip the food you are picking up. Light, easy to control. Everything I want in a pair of tongs, ha ha

Got these a couple years ago I believe now and they are still in weekly use in my house hold. Been running them through the dish washer and all. They have held up great! For the set of four the value is definitely there. Better than regular tongs in my opinion.

I really wanted to get some smaller and skinnier tongs than the standard ones I have. These are perfect! They're a great size and easy to hang onto. They come in a cute, colorful 4 pack and I just stick them in the dishwasher for cleaning. They're really sturdy and feel like they will last a long time. I would definitely get these again.

Absolutely LOVE these. We went through so many pairs of tongs which just always ended up breaking at the hinge eventually. Not these ones! There's no hinge, just bent metal, so they can't break. Additionally, the grabber end is small and thin-shaped and has ridges so it's excellent for picking up individual bits and pieces as well as strong and grippy for larger stuff. Fantastic unit, highly recommended, way better than anything else I've tried and I've bought a LOT of tongs over the years!

I'd been looking for some Korean bbq tongs for quite some time. These are exactly what I was after. The teeth on the end stops for from slipping through and allows for better handling. The coloured grips are also a fabulous idea so we can keep track of which tongs have been used for which meat. Stopping cross contamination.
