This absolutely saved me postpartum!! I split forwards, not backwards, and it was extremely painful to use the restroom. Using this in my bathtub with a shallow amount of water, made me feel 10x better. It is a bit pricey for the amount you get, but it was well worth it for me.

I didn’t end up using these sitz bath salts as much as I expected, but when I did, they were so soothing. I had a second degree tear and was wildly uncomfortable for days. I used a sitz bath on its own, which was great, but adding these salts made it feel even better. It gave me a tiny moment of self care during a time when you’re basically just trying to survive, keep your baby alive, and keep yourself sane. The aroma and the Epsom salt combo felt relaxing, and I really do think it helped speed up my recovery.
