Q: How often do these need to be washed?

I guess you could hang them to dry & reuse, b UT I wash ours with each use. Along with the towels. I have a couple & Love them for my daughters long hair. They really nice & well worth the money . I've had mine over a yr & still using them . I would recommend them to anyone .

Q: Can you use these with very long hair (mine is half way down my back)?

I have long hair as well and it is no problem when I use this

It is a 2 pack and you get 2 total towels. If you look at all of the photos you see that you will receive a cupcake and a sprinkle Turbie Twist towel in the 2 pack. They are individually packaged and make perfect gifts.

Q: Is this microfiber scratchy on dry hands, or is it soft like nylon or cotton?

It's soft and absorbs water amazing. I sometimes use it to dry my face after washing it as well.
