Edge of your seat
To say this book keeps you on your toes is an understatement!!! If there was an option to give more than a 5 Star rating I would.I loved how Jason was with Chloe!!! They had met at the shop where she worked (he ordered coffee) and almost instantly felt a connection for one another.... also, the way he helped her out with what happened to her without him coming off as anything but loving was amazing!I enjoyed the twists and turns this story gives and can't wait to dive into the next book of this series...I highly recommend this book and author if you want a great suspense story..you won't be disappointed.

Great Start
This was a great read and start to a new series. I was hooked from the beginning. I loved this book.

Worth the read
What this young lady goes threw is a lot so be sure to check your triggers as always please and thank you. But the fact that Jason still feels so strongly about her is just wonderful. He never tried to make her feel odd or different. He only made her a stronger person I believe. Plus love at first sight is always a plus in my book!

A tad confused …anticlimactic
The story started off pretty well - the action started (yes!) - then I blinked and *poof* - the crisis was resolved pretty early on. Then - very confusing when a year elapsed without any clue … had to figure that out by continuing on in my reading…I finished the book … but the title is a bit misleading, IMO - I mean, the majority of the book involved their love story building after the crisis. I may give book 2 a chance…the author has some great meat and bones here, but this particular story needed more suspense. It was just very anticlimactic.

Great love story
Even though there was a good mystery at play this was mostly more of a love story. Chloe and Jason ended up being good for each other and ended up with a HEA.

Good short read
Jason's and Chloe's story is well-written with twists and turns to keep you reading. It is a short read, great for that quick break from day to day. On the other hand, if you're look for something deeper with more depth, this probably will disappoint.

The devil
This was a great introduction to this series. The characters left off the pages. It started so simply and then suddenly you're thrust in a harrowing experience of a kidnapping. It was exciting and very well written.

Good short story
I thought this was a good story. How they met, how they fell in love and how they got on the Quentin Security team.

Cute read with triggers
This was a really nice read, I hope Jason and Chloe turn up in the other books as I would like to know about their 'after'. Well written, although short and fast it was a great read.

An FBI detective and a victim story
A suspenseful short read with intrigue, steam and hope. Jason and Chloe meet at the coffee shop where Chloe works. One time, one look and both feel a pull. A too short moment but important. Jason finds himself investigating Chloe's abduction 2 days later. This is part of the Quentin security series which I'm sure will be interesting.

Excellent
Great story proving that good does overcome evil. And a showing how a very brave woman can win against all the odds!

very good
This is my first book by this author and it didn’t disappoint.I really enjoyed it , it was dark and gritty ( although I prefer darker books) this was very very good and well written. The characters were easy to connect with .
