Does what it says. Cleans the heck out of chains.

Works very well to take off even tough dirt and grease. I purchased this because of the reviews it was given and was not disappointed. Highly recomend this to all. Love the fact that it is biodegradable.

As environmentally friendly degreasers go this one does well, just have to take that into account when you are waiting for it to break grease and wax loose. Compared to a degreaser like Krud Kutter this one takes much longer to work and more of it to get the job done but it does get it done and isn't as harsh.

This is my fourth purchase. The product is advertised as being nearly odorless and it definitely is that. When I used it today, in near 90 degree F temperatures, there was no apparent odor. As always my chain came out spotless and shiny from my Park tools cleaner. I also used it on the derailleur and cassette. I just squirted it on and then dipped my brush in some water diluted cleaner. When I was done everything was clean. The cassette wasn’t that shiny, mostly because it’s getting older and I didn’t try that hard. A value priced excellent product.

So I have used other name-brand products that were well known when I identified "Runaway Bike Degreaser." I researcher and reviewed many comments of this product and decided to give it a try. Well--I gave it a try on a very grungy gravel bike chain; totally amazing. Not only did the degreasing product work great on removing grease buildup but it improved the mobility of the chain links. Additionally, it removed buildup on the idler pulleys like nothing I have seen before. Following the instructions closely I let the chain drive and re-examined the chain and pulleys and was simply amazed how clean and mobile the chain and its links were. The product is simply amazing. I know use it on my Road Bikes, TT and Cross Bikes. As for the bio-friend claim--while using the product I allowed drippage into grass. There was no chemical burn as a result so yes it is very bio-friendly. I am now a loyal customer of this great product....

My previous degreaser was terrible for the environment and I always felt bad using it. This is every bit as effective and does the job without the terrible smell. I'm still careful about how I dispose of it, but I appreciate that it is non-toxic. Since I've had it, I've been better about actually cleaning my bike chain because I don't have to mess with a toxic, horrible-smelling chemical. It makes the whole process more pleasant.

Failed to clean the grease off of my brand new bike chain after soaking, agitating, and rinsing 2 times. It is still greasy to the touch on the surface - I will have to buy a different product before I can apply wax to the chain.

It might take a little bit more "elbow grease" than some other cleaning solutions, but I love that it's biodegradable so it's worth it. It's easy to use - I love the flip up squirt nozzle for more measured use, and less waste from over pouring. It does it's intended job and is an excellent product.

For cleaning all the nasty, dirty, greasy bits on a bike, this would be hard to beat. I will buy this again.
