If you're looking for a stove to use a lot, you might consider an MSR. For occasional use, this will do the trick! You can adjust the flame from simmer to rocket liftoff!! 🔥🔥 As long as you have a stable base, its pretty good. But you will probably want to hold on to your fry pan handle while you cook. Again, for occasional use it's fine.

The media could not be loaded. While it is possible to get a low flame for a simmer, it's not what I'd call fine control. The gas adjustment has maybe 3 full turns of adjustment but as you can see in the video, it only takes less than 1/16th of one turn to go from barely on to flame thrower. Any more turning of the valve past that makes no change to the flame. I bought it specifically for low price and flame control because I don't intend on only boiling water as fast as I can. But it did hit the mark on low price so 2 stars for that reasonEDIT:Went on a 2 day trip with it. Again, it did cook my food. But, it used a lot of gas and I noticed one of the three pot supports sits higher when folded out than the other two. So when your fuel can is on a flat surface, the pot/pan is not level. Did not notice if this was there before using the stove or not. Bumping down to 1 star.
