Brighter then stock
These are direct plug and play fit for H7 headlights. They function better than stock. They are brighter than stock. These are just as fragile as standard bulbs. Handle by the base only. Don’t touch the glass or the natural oils in your skin cause hot spots and they burn out. Don’t let the bulbs touch anything on installation, the contamination will cause them to burn out. If there is moisture inside of your headlight housing, they will burn out. If you mishandle the bulbs, clean the glass with alcohol before installing. Proper installation into sealed headlight housings should provide years of illumination. In my case, the extra illumination helped overcome the lens oxidation (cloudy headlights) I haven’t been able to address.

2012 Subaru Outback 2.5i - perfect fit
They're headlights that fit! Cooler color temp, not orange/warm. Honestly not impressed by the output but I think that's more of my gen Subaru thing because I've never been impressed by the Outback's headlights.

A much bighter white
I installed these on a 2011 BMW R1200GS - before were the factory BMW bulbs. When my dash display told me I had (LampF!) fault, I saw in my garage the low beam headlight bulb was out. I decided to upgrade and get some brighter ones, and since they are the same bulb. I purchased a 2 pack and swapped out both lights while I was at it. Not having taken it out on a night ride yet, I can already tell they are much brighter than the originals. *Excuse the color of the light on the garage door, they are not pink lights...the insulation on the garage door is pink.* You see the little blue park light underneath, I purchased that also as I noticed my park light was out for quite some time. That is one is an LED light by Combriller. I know most people are upgrading their headlights to LED, but I wasn't a fan of stuffing more junk into the headlight casing when you need cooling fans and extra wires for the upgrade. I don't have a ton of stuff to draw voltage away from the charging system, so there's no need for me to install amp-saving lights. These are easy to get to, and cost savings to change them every 5 years is no big deal.

White light…
Great light from these H7s. I replace as a pair when one burns out. Color is whiter then the last set prior owner put in.

9 months and light went out
Was hoping for a more durable headlight with Philips but I guess I was wrong. After only 9 months the light went out. Contacted the manufacturer just to be told that Amazon has to replace it. According to Gabriel, the rep I spoke to. Amazon has a contract with Philips and Amazon has to honor that contract. Spoke to an Amazon rep to be told that there was nothing that they could do because it past one month, I asked for a supervisor, and the same guy came back on the phone posing as a supervisor. But you can never be too sure so I went along with it just to be hung up on in less than 3 minutes, SUPER FRUSTRATING! I also have to say, that getting a hold of Amazon's customer service from the website is impossible. You would think a multi-billion dollar company would have great and easy-to-contact customer service. I guess budget cuts gotta come from somewhere. I'm done with both customer services, the lesson in this... buy my headlights from a local retailer.

Bright & clear! Honestly better than Silverstars
I have bought several Sylvania bulbs, and these Phillips are a little bit nicer build quality as far as coating goes on the metal parts of the body
