When I used this baby for the first time the meat seemed to brown up faster. I loved chopping the meat up and using the tines on the side made for easy movement of the meat. The chopper measures 11.7x3.7x2.7. The nylon head is heat safe. It is made for high temperatures and is safe for up to 400 degrees. Just make sure that you don't leave it laying in the pan while you are cooking. I put this in my dishwasher on the top shelf and it cleans up very nicely with no problems. Perfect for what I need, seems of good quality.

Best cost effective item to mash ground beef. The only caveat to be aware of is that the plastic can melt. We had another one that melted where the two pieces of plastic connect because we left it leaning on the metal pot. Otherwise, the item works as intended.

I love this product for cooking ground up meat. It certainly breaks up the lumps of meat much better than just a flat spatula.
