This is really great quality, the bags can be removed and it’s still heavy, wish I had a lighter one for rest days but it’s really good and great weight it’s hard to find comfy nice looking ones that are actually heavy. Comfy on the chest if your large chested too.

Researched and bought after consideration. My use will be for wearing on brisk walks a few times a week for strength and bone density. I’m a 48 yo female preparing for the future! I’m 5’3” and with the 5kg load it feels heavy but wearable. I haven’t worn it on a walk yet as it’s only just arrived. I like that I can add weight as I progress. You can adjust the side straps so can make it fit comfortably across bust. There’s a front pocket for phone/keys which is handy. It does rub a bit around my neck so will not wear it for any longer than the walk itself. I might wear a neck buff to protect my skin from rubbing. The only issue is that it smells strongly of diesel. This smell transfers to whatever you’re wearing. So when I do wear it I will wear with old T-shirts I no longer care about instead of any nice gym kit. UPDATE 28/02/25 - I’ve been wearing this for 2 months now, 5 times a week on the school run walk which is a 40 min round trip, including uphill. I could feel the benefit instantly in terms of posture and core engagement. Gets your heart pumping and elevates a walk you’d be doing anyway to more intense and beneficial exercise. I have progressed from 5kg to 7kg and am considering going up to the maximum 9kg. I went skiing last week and could definitely notice the benefits of additional strength and fitness when carrying my skis on my shoulder and stomping about the resort in ski boots. I enjoy wearing it and am really glad I bought it. It still has the diesel smell, my husband thinks the iron sand has been washed in diesel to prevent rusting so I guess it’s unavoidable. I wear it with old clothes. It hasn’t rubbed my skin as I don’t wear it for extended periods. Also the net pocket only fits my old iPhone 11 if I remove the tough case. So if your phone is any bigger it won’t fit. UPDATE 12/05/25 OK so I’ve now been wearing this for 5 months, as described in my last update. I noticed some lower back pain in the Easter hols when I had a break from the school run/wearing vest. So I haven’t gone up to 9kg, I’ve gone down to 6kg which is the ratio recommended for me (10% of your body weight). I’ve distributed the sand bags so there is 1 either side at the front and 1 in the middle at the back. This balances the vest better over my bust, it doesn’t slide backwards over my shoulders. It feels comfortable and I’m still enjoying wearing it and look forward to my walks. Along with some other simple lifestyle changes and wearing the vest I have dropped a dress size. This wasn’t the plan, I bought it for bone density, so the weight loss has been a surprise bonus. I don’t really notice the diesel smell so much anymore and it doesn’t bother me. Overall a very happy, fitter and now slimmer customer!

Looked fab, fitted fine and no noticeable strong smell. However it leaks sound everywhere. All i have done is take it out of the box and try it on. Will buy another and hope it was just a one off..!

What a brilliant bit of kit to help you work that extra bit harder on your work outs / walks. As other reviewers have mentioned… there is a bit of a ‘smell’ to it which does ease off over time (think it’s the material in the weighted parts) but it wouldn’t put me off buying it or wearing it but something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to strong smells. Love the fact that you can alter the weight easily with the removable bags of whatever it is…. Wear my vest on my dog walks and you can definitely feel it working!

My previous weighted vest died courtesy of the strap coming away from the main body of the vest. This was likely due to the relatively lightweight the strap was stitched in and the fact the straps needed constant tightening during a rigorous run. There's no such concerns with this vest. It has multiple pockets allowing you to swap in and take out 0.7kg weights to get the desired settings. Everything feels tight and secure when in place, courtesy of the quality stitching and material. The vest goes over the head and there's plenty of space in the armpit area as the straps go across the waist, meaning you won't get chaffing across the ribs when running. I was really pleased with the straps. Once snapped in place, it's a case of drawing the straps forwards to tighten. The weights are evenly distributed so you won't feel the strain on the shoulders, front or back. More importantly, the vest stays nicely in place when running, with only movement up and down. This is great as I find the constant pounding of a vest when running both distracting as well as tiring. At £46.99 this is relatively pricey, but for this you get a secure, robust comfortable weighted vest. Caution only advised as they suggest handwash only.

Love this to add a bit of weight when going on walks. Only thing to be mindful is that it does slip back, so you will need to pull it forward every now and then.

I am a small woman and for me it works best without the extra weights but they are a good option. I find the opening, for when I put it over my head, to be a bit small and I think a larger person would struggle with this.

I really like how this vest is adjustable and easily fits both men and women. Not uncomfortable over the chest and has adjustable side straps as well as a built in front pocket that can easily hold your phone and keys. The weight bags are easily removed or added as needed. One downside is that you need to put it on over your head which sometimes smacks into my glasses or pony tail but it’s not a deal breaker

Anche tre settimane dopo. L'ho appeso all'aria, ma tutta la stanza puzza ancora di plastiche chimiche. Sto considerando se fare reso per questo motivo. Temo che sarà inutilizzabile.. Il peso però è giusto ed i sacchetti di sabbia si rimuovono e si rimettono facilmente. La tasca è decisamente comoda.
