XIHADA Universal Garage Door Remote Garage Door Opener Remote Gate Remote Control Programmable Learning 4-Buttons Multi Frequency 280MHZ-868MHZ (ASIN B07J65GT2W). Each XIHADA remote programmed easily as per the included instructions (and as demonstrated on YouTube videos). The remotes are being used to open a security gate to a gated subdivision. The XIHADA remotes were programmed from a Linear ACT-31B remote (see picture). And once programmed, the programmed XIHADA remote can be used to program other XIHADA remotes. The operating distance of these remotes is surprisingly good, and much farther than that of the Linear ACT-31B remotes. The operation of these remotes is very responsive (i.e. the gate opens immediately with a single click; no need to press the button repeatedly). Also, since the remotes are being used exclusively to open a single gate, all 4 buttons (or fewer buttons, if desired) of each remote can be programmed to open the gate (i.e. no need to press a specific button). Of note, the XIHADA remotes would not accept the signal from a Doorking remote that can open the same gate. However, Doorking remotes are not on the list of compatible remotes. A suggestion when programming multiple remotes and/or multiple buttons in one sitting, allow the source remote to rest a few minutes if the signal isn't being accepted after successive programming attempts (whether successful or not). Because the button on the source remote is being repeatedly and/or constantly depressed during programming, there may be some temporary battery drain of the source remote and weakening of the source signal. If this happens, allow the source remote to rest a couple of minutes or alternate programming with another source remote. Overall, the programming process to copy a security gate remote was straight forward. Feels sturdy. Very functional. Highly recommend based on average price of each remote for under $20.

Después de comprar y regresar varios modelos (inclusive uno que usaba DIP Switches, pero de dos posiciones en lugar de 3. El único requisito es que se debe contar con un control que funcione y emita la señal que se desea clonar. Si su control viejo funciona, ésta es su mejor opción.

First attempt to program didn't work only because I had the orrigional remote to close. Move the remote you are using to program around while it's transmitting and bam! Works great all 4 buttons programed. Also...I programed two German garage door openers to it that are not listed on the instruction sheet as well as programed a remote light on the outside of the house. If it's remote control it will learn it.

Updated Review: I’ve bought three of these remotes in the past two years. They were perfect for our use as they worked with garage door openers and community gates. Last month one of the remotes stopped working. I thought no big deal, I’ll open it up and replace the battery. However, when I opened it up, the solder had come loose on the piece that holds the battery in place. I was bummed but figured it was a fluke and threw it in the trash. This week the same thing happened to a second remote. I will now be looking to replace both remotes with a different brand.Original Review: This remote was simple to program (follow the simple directions/video) and and opens both our community gate and our garage door. It’s a slim design that works perfect on your keys so you’re not leaving it in the car for someone to break into at night and open your garage.

Was able to pair with my old garage door, don’t even know what I have. Just communicated with my original remote. Super simple to do by following the instructions.
