My Daughter used to work summers in a Very Chic Spa. She introduced this oil to me as the Spa had multiple uses for it. I use it immediately following a nice warm shower or bath. It's a marvelous moisturizer that goes below the surface. My other favorite use so far is on the ends of my hair. I have wavy porous over worked hair and my ends would sometimes retreat to the snap-crackle-pop syndrome. Sure trimming might help if I wanted to eventually have a Peter Pan cut But Babassu has saved the day. I apply it to the ends while my styling choices are now in the resting stage. My hair is actually growing again because the ends are sufficiently nourished. This oil penetrates deep into the hair to moisturize as opposed to coconut oil which is heavy, kinda sits on top and doesn't actually help repair inside the hair shaft. I've added an inch in hair length using Babassu which is a remarkable improvement from what was previously happening. As A Note - If you have thin, flat, straight hair this oil may definitely be too heavy unless you're using it as a Warm Deep Conditioning hair treatment.

I might just have to look for another because of the pricing. The quality is great, but the pricing is not. I generally don't change products.

This is the lightest oil you can use, especially if you're allergic to coconut. Try it, you'll fall in love ❤️

First I would like to say that the only reason I have not given this product a five star rating is because they don't disclose how they do the refining process. This oil has very similar nutrients to coconut oil, but it is less greasear and it has more moisturising power. I use it on my hair and skin before bed, and in the morning my hair and skin feels super smooth and silky. Even if you have oily skin you should give it a try, because it will help your skin naturally by creating a soft coating.

I got this product because I read that it had similar characteristics as coconut oil and would work just as good. I was anxious since I am allergic to coconut oil. The presentation of the product is very simple and clean. So far i have used it in my leave in conditioner, to moisturize my hair in oil form, and my body wash. it has helped dramatically with my dandruff and has kept my hair moisturized under my protective styles. I absolutely love it. I got the 16oz so it should last me for a bit but I will definitely be ordering more.
