Galil Organic Roasted Chestnuts are so natural and pure tasting. No chemical scent from packaging. No salt or sugar added. I really enjoyed the first bag years ago. And my whole family does, too (and we all like different types of food!). I've purchased these and gifted them to many others who have said they also really like. They're not cheap, but they're not overpriced - we buy them when they go on sale and when the holidays come around. Please keep producing these. The bags are delightful and cheery, illustrating just what they look like.

Moist and delicious. I love them as snacks and have used them when making stuffings.

Not quite the roasted chestnuts in the shell. As a young lad my family gathered to roast chestnuts in the shell. It was a once or twice a year event near CHRISTmas. The finished edible nut was firmer, a bit of inner skin was a treat and it oferred texture to the nut. These do not quite offer the same experience but they are very good. I will buy them again.

I've had these before from a local grocery store, so I knew the texture and wetness of them. Theses packs are easy to have a healthy and fulfilling snack on the go. They soft, a little chewy and slightly sweet. I did not notice a smell or any freshness issues. I think it's a good size and value for the price, too.

Bland, flavorless and disappointing. They didn't even taste like chestnut. I made a chestnut bisque with 4 out of the 6 packages and there was no chestnut flavor. So I tasted a "fresh" one out of another package. Tasted like sawdust. Do not buy, there are so many other great options. A total waste of money that will ruin whatever dish you put it in.

Order on repeat! Excellent tastes so god and I give it to my dogs great fiber helps them poop!

These are a great way to enjoy Roasted Chestnuts without having to peel them. I put a few in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Great snack.

I thought it a good idea to have roasted chestnuts on the Brussel sprouts this year as it is a northern hemisphere tradition. The product was good but I did find them a little softer than I thought they would be. Very nice tasting, anyway.

Las castañas viene hervidas no tostadas, chiclosas y nada apetecibles. Buscábamos castañas tostadas crujientes y nada que ver.
