After accidentally leaving my beloved Global knives behind in Ireland when moving back to England, I found myself adrift and knife-less. I know some people enjoy the ritual of sharpening, but for me it's pure admin. I hate it. And don't even get me started on flattening whetstones with a leveling stone, it's just not my idea of a good time. So thought I'd take a punt on this Ninja knife block with integrated sharpener. I already own a small army of Ninja appliances and love every one of them, so this felt like a safe bet. The knives are solid, well balanced, and satisfyingly weighty, genuinely worthy replacements for my much missed Globals. They came razor sharp out of the box and, crucially, they hold their edge brilliantly. The built-in sharpener is so convenient, and is just perfect for someone who hates manual sharpening as much as I do. A few swipes and you're back in business; no stones, no soaking, no faff. You can also replace the sharpening wheel, which they recommend you do every two years to keep it sharpening your knives as effectively as possible. They're also excellent value for money, especially compared my old Globals. Also, I clumsily sliced the top of my thumb off in the first week. Guess my muscle memory isn't what it used to be. 10/10, would buy again. 🔪✨

What a brilliant piece of kit this set is. made to typical NINJA standards, the knives are very well balanced & lovely to hold. Easy to use as they SUPER sharp (CARE!) I haven't used the sharpener yet as I'm within the recommended two week maintainance period...(or less if heavy useage...) These guys are great to look at, but much bigger than I thought - so I had to juggle my worktop NINJA 'furniture' around a bit to fit everything in & have it all look pleasing... (No problem though if you have a large work area) Yes, NINJA stuff can be a bit pricey, but aesthetics & quality are the hallmarks of this particular brand of kitchenware (& there's always sale times, wnen you can get a bit knocked off the price 🙂...)

After using the Ninja Foodi StaySharp Knife Block for over a year, I finally felt ready to review it because I really wanted to see whether the sharpness and overall quality would hold up and they truly did. The knives are still wonderfully sharp, feel solid, and the handles are surprisingly comfy to hold. The block itself is sturdy, and the built-in sharpener works better than I expected, making it easy to keep everything in great shape without extra tools. Do not try to use the sharpener with other knives as they can get stucked and ruin it. I am saying this as it can be very tempting to try and fix other knives. We wanted to sharpen a knife of a different brand and it got stucked really bad. It was really hard to take it out. My husband managed to sort it out without damaging the sharpener. The only thing I’d improve is the bottom of the block: it has these suction-style grips that definitely keep it secure (which is great for safety, especially with kids around), but they can be a bit annoying when I want to move it to clean or rearrange the kitchen counter. I personally think a simple silicone non-slip base would have kept it stable while still letting me slide or lift it more easily. But overall, after a full year of everyday use, I’m really impressed and would still choose this set again.

Very well balanced and sharp set. Good looking set of knives, Just beware of the corner of the blade near the handles, its sharp and can/will catch you out!

These are without a doubt the best knives I have purchased in a long time. They are made entirely from stainless steel, with no wooden handles, which helps prevent the retention of germs and makes them easier to clean.. The knives cut exceptionally well and require minimal effort. As someone with a hand disability, having high-quality knives that make food preparation easier is extremely important to me. I would highly recommend these knives to anyone looking for durable, high-quality kitchen tools. A little pricey but worth it.

It's not cheap I know. 6 knives .. easy and fun to sharpen.. It will need sharpening time to time to enjoy cutting slicing.. I believe If you look after It well, you can hand It down to your children one day. Sharpness 8/10 Built quality 8/10

Zestaw noży super - ostre i solidnie wykonane. Pojemnik z ostrzałką jest przeciętny ale tego się spodziewałem czytając opinie - i tak z niego. Za te pieniądze nic lepszego nie znalazłem (ok. 550 zł).

Ich habe den Ninja StaySharp Messerblock (6-teilig) in meiner Küche ausprobiert und ziehe folgendes Fazit: ✅ Gut: -Die Messer liegen sehr gut in der Hand und fühlen sich stabil an – für alle alltäglichen Schneidarbeiten ausreichend. -Der integrierte Schärfer im Messerblock ist praktisch: Damit lassen sich die Messer schnell wieder auffrischen, sodass sie im Alltag lange scharf bleiben. -Das Set enthält eine gute Auswahl an Messern plus eine Küchenschere, was die meisten Aufgaben in der Küche abdeckt. -Der Messerblock wirkt hochwertig und ordentlich – die Messer sind direkt griffbereit und übersichtlich verstaut. ⚠️ Zu beachten: -Die Messer sollten nicht in die Spülmaschine, Handwäsche ist nötig. -Der integrierte Schleifer muss regelmäßig genutzt werden, sonst verlieren die Messer allmählich an Schärfe. Da das ganze aber sehr schnell erledigt ist, hat es mich nie gestört. -Wer sehr große oder spezielle Messer benötigt, findet die Auswahl etwas begrenzt – für Standardaufgaben aber völlig ausreichend. 🎯 Fazit: Für mich ist dieses Set eine sehr praktische Lösung für die Küche: solide Messer, einfache Handhabung und der integrierte Schärfer sind sehr nützlich. Ideal für alle, die ein funktionales, gut ausgestattetes Messer-Set zum fairen Preis suchen.
