I can hit two repeaters that are 17 and 19 miles away with them. They are not quite as clear as the Nagoya antenna (a little more static) but they work well and are half the price.

I ordered four more and will test all of them to see if there’s a consistency. But right now they looked very very good. I test him with a magnum mount on top of my roof. So there is a consistency in the test parameters. So far they’re the biggest bang for the buck around. Tested as good as the diamond sometimes better of course it depends on which HT I’m using that factors in a little bit believe it or not so far pretty good all around though.

It is annoying long, but still a good compromise as the range is much higher.

Bought this last summer it fits perfectly and reception is much better.

These antennas work great for the intended purpose.

The "rubber ducky" on my HTX202, 2 meter handy developed an intermittent problem. This antenna, with an necessary SNA to BNC adapter, works "OK", but not as well as the original 2m handy antenna. Not surprising, since this is a wide band, rather than a dedicated, 2 m antenna. I also tried the antenna with a 1/4 wave clip on ground wire, but that made no noticeable difference. It is also more sensitive to orientation, with some dead spots. But the price is right!
