Lives up to the hype.
I had wanted to try this lager for a while and hadn’t realised it was available on Amazon. The lager arrived very well packaged and undamaged. I like the label - I think it is understated and suggests quality. I generally enjoy Pilsner types of lager and German Weissbier types. I often drink Budweiser if no others are available. The Hawkstone lager is a really nice colour. It pours well into a glass appearing less inclined to foam up like a Bud will often do. The taste is very smooth, rounded, slightly hoppy and more toward a Weissbier than a Bud I would say. I will definitely buy this again.

Great tasting lager, price not so great
I'm giving 5 stars for flavour and 3 for value. It's genuinely really lovely lager, it's flavourful and light, mildly zesty, incredibly refreshing during summer, mildly hoppy, not too overpowering. My only gripe is the price, it does seem a tad overpriced for what is essentially bottled lager. I get the whole 'supporting British Farmers' campaign etc, I just can't justify spending that much on lager. Price needs reviewing, IMO. 10/10 for the taste though, it's beautiful lager.

Beer!
I think I fell victim to the hype. It’s good, but I had “exceptional” in my head, and it didn’t quite reach that level. That’s the downside of having a big personality or brand behind it, my expectations shot through the roof. I’ll happily drink it, but I’m not convinced it justifies the premium price. That said, it’s not too fizzy, has a nice consistency, and is very easy to drink. Quality product, quality packaging, and a solid overall lager.

Great beer bad packaging for Amazon delivery.
Fine lager very tasty. Unfortunately inadequate packaging as one of the 24 bottles was smashed and the soggy box looks like it was run over. I suggest better packaging for future.

Although expensive well worth a try as it is very nice. Well done Jeremy
I was a bit unsure of buying bottles online after reading some of the comments where some had been broken but as I could not find Hawkstone anywhere locally I took the plunge and bought them on here. Although the outer box was a bit crushed thankfully th inner one was in tact and the bottles were OK. What was a bit strange was the inner box had "Handle with care on both sides where as the outer box had nothing. Only had one bottle so far and though expensive it is really good and moorish.
