Q: Does it have any handles?

No handles, but very secure belt. Everyone LOVED the color!

Q: Does the underside of the buckle have sharp edges ore they smoothed and/or rolled over? You would notice when putting it on patient. Thanks

The edges are smoothed out. I have tested this without a layer of clothing for protection and it was as comfortable as any gait belt of this design can get. I hope this helps answer your question.

Q: Can the belt be cut or trimmed for petite wearer?

The belt has a metal clip at the end. We do not recommend cutting this belt as the end of it will then be frayed. If you have a way of solving that issue once it's cut, then it is possible to cut it to the desired size.
