Highly Efficient and Portable Solar Charger
I recently purchased the FlexSolar 40W Foldable Solar Charger, and it's been a game-changer for my outdoor adventures. The charger unfolds into six panels for efficient output. The USB-C port with PD 2.0 and QC3.0 ensures fast charging for my devices, and the IP67 waterproof rating means it cam handle unexpected rain. The ETFE material offers high light transmission and durability. Overall, this solar charger is efficient, portable, and reliable. Highly recommend for anyone needing a dependable power source on the go!

Decent solar panel, gains around 25 - 31w
I have used this to charge a Anker Prime 27,650 mAh Powerbank, it charges at around 25w which isn’t 40 but it’s still good. (I have only used the USB-C and USB-A, I am yet to use the DC 5521 (next review I will have). The output is more that what is said by FlexSolar which is great, no complaints there. It is a little expensive but for the purpose of being portable, it’s great. Very easy to use, it even has a red light which activates when the solar panel receives enough light to create electricity. Updated Review with DC & Anker C200: Yesterday, I charged 90% in a full day which adds up to 54,000mAh / 60,000. Keep in mind I also charged a full phone which adds up to around 3,500mAh. The solar panels are pretty decent, on a good day, in a good position you could get up to 31w through the DC cable. (It is a DC5521) I do consistently get around 25w in full sun, no clouds at around 90 degrees. It is a decent panel which does require strong amounts of sunlight. If you have the extra £10 (when on sale) I would definitely prefer to get the 60w rather than this 40w since the output is around 62% than what is claimed.

Good portable solar panels, but not the power rating you may think.
It should be noted that 40w is under lab conditions. In reality panels heat up in sunlight which reduces their efficiency and thin portable panels rarely give the rated value. In direct UK summer sunlight around 25 Deg C, I get about 12W max out of this kit. That is still very useful and can be used to charge up most small-medium devices, medium power banks in say 6 hours or so or more. I like that these are portable. One thing to not too is that USB A connection and cable will limit you to around 3W, so best to use the USB-C connection to get upto 20W+ etc.

Great Item and good value
Fairly lightweight. Charges battery pack really well. I'm not sure about the sunshine level or timing, because I tend to leave it outside the tent charging the battery pack and it's usually charged by the time I return even when there isn't much sunshine. Great value for money.

Oh What Fun! Charges in the SUN! [oops, yeh, that was a bit of cr%p poetry - sorry!]
Bought this device a few weeks back, during a brief September Sunny Spell. It worked great - happily driving a USB fan, and charging my devices while I was using them in the garden. BUT - just like when (as a teenager), I was given my first Golf Umbrella, and then it didn't rain for about 3 months (or so it seemed), the day after this solar cell arrived, and I gave it the first testing, the Sun went on its hollibobs, and we had weeks of grey skies, and drizzle/rain/worse. Hey, that's life. But the IMPORTANT bits for YOU: 1) It WORKS GREAT - if you have the sunshine! 2) It has USB-A Socket, and NOT some bespoke cable or connector, so it WILL work with ALL your stuff 3) Seems VERY tough, and a total Dead-Cert addition to my Holiday EDC And come next Summer, if the SUN returns - also end-of-Garden duty. Actually, I kinda just love it. Everything it should be, but nothing more. 5 stars with sparkly FX!

Not very reliable!
Broke after a week, was mounted on a 60 degree wooden pole and stopped working shortly after. No rain during this period.

An actual proper portable solar panel! Type c!
I was pleased to find that this panel does not have glass panels. This is a serious plus as they live in my backpack, they even have a little flex to them. The panels are actually embedded in what seems to be a solid rubber so they don’t get ruined by rain! When out in full sun this panel charges my phone quickly on a type c fast charge cable, impressive. Over all I would say the panel is great value for money, it’s robust and can handle the outdoors easily. Folds up to the size of an a4 sheet of paper, just thicker obviously. If 40w is all you need look no further, it’s been helping me for months. Lastly, if it’s a little overcast they still deliver power, just not under full thick rain cloud!

Solid power delivery
Works great, delivers usually 27/28W It one time hit 30W , I can charge my 99wh Anker battery pack in about 4 hours ish ? I don't live in the UK I live in a VERY sunny place so if I don't hit 40W no one will and I don't expect the panel to reach that. Kind wish it had a way to be laid other than flat but I guess that's what you get for the price range

Bonne efficacité. M'a permis de garder tous mes appareils électroniques chargés oendnt un voyage de 6 semaines. Assez robuste pour les activités de plein air.

Just what I was looking for to take backpacking, it works very well for a lightweight compact system. It charged my cell phone to 87% in less than a day, and my tiny flashlight in about two hours. Also if you were ever facing a prolonged power outage it would keep the flashlights running indefinitely.

It’s a low price panel that performs as advertised . I tried it out, it works great, no issues. It’s slow, but that’s expected given the wattage. When I’m camping I plug in my phone and leave it to charge. It works, the price was right, it feels solid, now my wife wants one too. Happy with it. Good purchase.
