Easy to install

Popped off the old switch and screwed on the replacement. Direct fit. Bolt hole pattern lined up great. Had two find longer screws but that's no big deal. Now the bad. Two wires came with switch. But there are four terminals on the switch. Had to move the original wires from terminal to terminal until electrical contact was made. Unit feels solid. But will buy two more units as spares. Can't go wrong for 15 bucks.

I use this to replace his seven-year-old rigid sump pump- the original unit was broken when the unit tipped over while I was cleaning the basement. This replacement worked fine.

I'm not a particularly handy person, so there was some trepidation in replacing the switch. Removed the switch noting what wires went where. Matched everything back up and put it back together. And, what do you know, I didn't screw it up. It worked.$20 for the switch saved me a bunch of money on a new pump and a big headache in not having to disconnect the pvc pipe and the pump itself and then put it all back together. Time to replace the switch maybe twenty minutes. Priceless.If I can do it, anyone can.

This switch was universal and fit our older but great running pump. Saves us for getting a new one
