My dad is 87 and lives with his sirius radio on 24/7. They live in a rural area and no internet so satelite is only way to go. He has gone through 2 radios and I have had issues with the new radios and not having adequate antennas... this combined with the gold adapter i bought has fixed the problems....can toss it out the window and up on the roof works wonders

Was able to run the antenna up to the roof to improve reception.

GREAT EXTENSION, EASY INSTALL

I was a little worried how well this extension would work with it's long length. I installed XM radio at work but it was over 65' from where the receiver was going to be and the location of the exterior antenna. I connected this 52' extention to the 20' cord connected to the antenna. Altogether we only lost 1 bar of signal, which resulted in no noticeable sound quality difference.
