It's a great item, but the opening for the diploma is 8x10, which just didn't work for me. Would have definitely kept it otherwise.

This frame has a very nice finish. It is much larger than I thought it was going to be. It gives a very official feeling when you look at it I love looking up and seeing it on the wall. I used to have it just in a regular frame, and it just gives it another Impression when you look at it, it was very easy to put in there. I use tape to secure the diploma on the piece of paper before inserting it in the frame. I also wrapped the tassel around the cardboard once, and it seem to be the perfect length after that , when I get more diplomas, I will definitely be making all the frames match and getting more

I love this frame, I like that I am able to display my diploma , a photo and my tassel all in one space.

This looks absolutely fine hanging. That being said.... The frame is just black plastic, and the "Glass" isn't glass at all but plexi glass. The back hanging hardware is pretty cheap. But, if you just hang it and aren't moving it around a lot to fiddle with the hooks it's just fine, and no one will notice. The center opening is too big for most diplomas (way bigger than the HS or college one we had) but I just put a piece of black construction paper behind it. Would have preferred a bigger space for a 5x7 picture and skip the bottom small rectangle, but I didn't want to pay for a custom frame, so this works.
