Wish I’d known about it sooner
This is a really interesting face wash, it’s “soap free” but it lathers up really well and one pump is honestly enough to hit the entire face and neck. It washes away and doesn’t leave a residue, it isn’t harsh and I feel like it’s improved both the texture and the appearance of my combination skin. Add a little moisturizer afterwards and is a really good balance of clean but not dried out. La Roche-Posay makes quality stuff, I really like their body lotions too.

Soft and reliable for sensitive skin
I have sensitive skin and this cleanser has worked very well for me. It cleans without leaving a feeling of dryness or tightness, and it did not cause me burning or outbreaks. The foam is light and with little quantity it yields a lot. I use it daily and my skin feels calmer and more balanced. It doesn't have a strong fragrance, which I really appreciate. It is a simple product that fulfills what it promises.

Favorite face wash
Great facewash for combination skin. Never broke out because of this. You can feel the deep cleanse it gives your skin. Color of my skin has balanced quite nicely as well. No smell or scent, so you know no extra drying lr irritation will take place.

Quality face wash for a great price
I was using the revision face wash, but decided to try this one based on other suggestions and I’m so happy I did. This face wash does exactly what I needed to do and doesn’t break the bank! It lathers great and leaves my face feeling clean. My skin always feels soft after using it. I did have to switch to the gentle one during the winter due to dry skin, but I will definitely be using this during the summer.

I was hesitant at first, but absolutely love it!
A little goes a long way with this face wash--literally one small pump, which is nicely pre-measured with the pump dispenser bottle. A single pump and a little warm water in my hand and I get a rich, creamy, foamy lather that covers my entire face. No eye irritation so far, but I try to be careful around my eyes. It's not great at removing waterproof mascara (but it's tough to remove for a reason, which is why I rarely wear it). It rinses off well and I follow the rinse with a hot wash cloth "steam and wipe" to remove any remaining residue. It leaves my 60 year old skin soft, radiant and glowing and ready for my layer skin care routine. I think it's unscented....there may be a light natural scent from the ingredients themselves, but nothing truly noticeable. I have VERY sensitive skin that will break out at the slightest fragrance or any harsh ingredients or preservatives and this actually helped clear-up a terrible breakout reaction I had to a new layered K-Beauty product line I had tried. It is very effective, yet gentle. The bottle is quite large. Honestly, the best value for the money given how little is needed. I expect the bottle to last several months, if not a year!

Gentle Yet Effective – The Perfect Daily Cleanser for Sensitive, Oily Skin!
I've been using the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Facial Cleanser for a few weeks now, and it's quickly become my holy grail face wash. As someone with combination oily-sensitive skin that's prone to occasional breakouts, finding a cleanser that thoroughly removes dirt, excess oil, and makeup without stripping or irritating my skin has been a challenge—until this one. The gel texture transforms into a soft, creamy foam with just a small pump (a little really goes a long way!), and it rinses clean without any residue or tight, dry feeling. Thanks to the niacinamide and ceramides, my skin feels soothed, balanced, and comfortably hydrated afterward—no redness or stinging, even around my eyes. It's fragrance-free and soap-free, which is perfect for my sensitive skin, and it maintains the skin's natural pH and barrier. I use it morning and night: in the evenings to remove sunscreen and light makeup, and mornings for a fresh start. My pores look cleaner, oil production seems more controlled throughout the day, and my overall complexion is clearer and calmer. Dermatologist-recommended for a reason—this is gentle enough for daily use but effective for oily skin types. If you're tired of harsh foaming cleansers that leave your skin parched, definitely try this. Worth every penny!

Love this face cleanser!
I LOVE this face cleanser. It foams up nicely, doesn't sting your eyes, is fragrance-free, and leaves your skin moisturized and clean, and not dry at all. It's well worth the price.

First: DHC Oil Cleanser-Second: LA ROCHE POSAY FOAMING CLEANSWER-Third: Red Light Therapy
My title explains why I consistently receive compliments on my smooth, youthful complexion at 83 years old. Many women have told me I look 30 yrs younger. I cleanse my face DAILY with a quality (Made in Japan or Made in So Korea) CLEANSING OIL (I use DHC). Rinse thoroughly, then immediately use La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying FOAMING FACIAL CLEANSER. Rinse thoroughly. Dry your face, then use RED LIGHT THERAPY (20 min on my RLT mask, which turns off automatically after 20 min). These facial RLT masks are available on Amazon). EXFOLIATE: Three days a week, after cleansing with cleansing oil and with the cleansing foam still on my face, I gently EXFOLIATE to get rid of dulling dead skin cells with my battery-powered OLAY Regenerist Advanced CLEANSING BRUSH. Each day, I apply facial serums, let them dry, then apply SNAIL MUCIN moisturiser, then over that, apply (made in Japan) BIORE' SPF 50 UV full spectrum moisturising, disappearing, leaves no "ghost white" residue sun screen. Then I apply make-up. Classic 1950s Hollywood style red lipstick, a faint tinge of rose for my cheek bones, a bit of dark greyish taupe for my eyeliner, a bit of taupe eyeshadow, then a bit of mascara (which I use only for special occasions). I do not use foundation because it eventually works its way into those tiny crinkles and lines. Without foundation, my complexion appears fresh, clean, moisturised and....youthful. Follow this routine and I believe you will begin to see good results after a couple of weeks. If you have questions about the effectiveness of Red Light Therapy, look for peer reviewed science based research articles on PubMed. com or get a book like RED LIGHT THERAPY, by author Lucas Shepherd (May 1j0, j2025) to guide you. Or, if you have the available funds, you can visit a clinic that has full body red light therapy clamshell full body treatment machines (they look like those machines in which you lay down for a full body tanning session). Stay healthy, feed your body mostly organic locally grown foods, keep a positive attitude, keep moving (walk, yoga, tai chi, iaido Japanese swordsmanship, Aikido, Karate, Kendo, etc). Food is medicine. Movement is medicine.
