I threw away all of my mixed ankle socks because I was so sick of never finding a matching pair and replaced it with 5 packs of these I considered a more sensible choice like all white or black but in my heart I knew which socks were calling my name. I wear these around the house and to sleep in and they are perfect. I can mix n match (or grab a pair from the drawer in the dark) and always have 2 socks that fit the same and that "go" together. They hold up just fine in the wash and dryer and the color hasn't faded in the month I've been wearing them (though with the amount I bought, most haven't gone through the laundry more than twice). They're pretty thin socks which is what I wanted - these won't so much in winter or with shoes that need thick socks. They fit perfectly for my 9 wide women's shoe size feet. Plus they're super cute. Can't go wrong!
