It is very sheer compared to the photos. It might be ok for more day-to-day looks, it just wasn't what I needed for the intended effect. It is be an ok base to use for metallic powders on top if you are going for a true gold tone. This is also a good time to remind everyone that this type of lipstick is prone to smudging so I wouldn't use it without a lipliner.

Maybelline New York also have great products. There isn't nothing bad I can say. I love the color. I wish it would last a lot longer on the lips. That is the only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star.
