I am a charter captain in the Gulf of Mexico. I have owned and EPIRB for a while but really wanted a way to communicate while out of cell range. Couldn't beat the deal and now that I have it I love it I don't use it a whole lot but the plans are very affordable and this thing is great for when I'm on the road or hiking backpacking it's great I'm really glad I finally pulled the trigger and got it it is overall a five-star deal
