Ultra Last Clumping Cat Litter Unscented MultiCat 18 Lbs. Pet Friendly with Baking Soda Odor Control Litter

I use Arm & Hammer cat litter exclusively, but I do experiment with different formulations. I like the Unscented Multicat - even though I only have one cat - because it does a great job of reducing odor and dust. It clumps well and keeps the mess confined, meaning fewer little box changes. My cat seems to like it - I suspect that's because he doesn't have to deal with strong perfumes - and I find the 18 lb. boxes very convenient. I use two boxes at a time, and I find it much easier to manage two mid-size boxes than one very large and heavy box. That's just a matter of personal choice, but I think a lot of older cat owners might benefit from this. Arm & Hammer is not the cheapest brand on the market, but it's priced well for premium litter, and in my opinion - and that of my cat - it's worth a little extra for the superior quality.

when i first got my cat i was using corn litter, because it is flushable. But eventually i discovered those benefits are far outweighed by the odor control of this clay litter. It’s night and day, so much less smell. I do scoop the box every day regardless, but still this is a quality of life improvement for both me and my cat. There is dust, so watch out for that, and it does track. But again, odor fighting is great.

Great quality Kitty Litter! I always get unscented as I don’t want or trust our cat inhaling fragrances and this did a remarkable job at getting rid of bad odor with the baking soda. Easy to scoop, no dust, and great for the price!

It clumps well, you can't smell anything and it doesn't get caught in my roommate's toes. It is heavy, though. Just carrying it to the litter box is good exercise.

This is good enough, but only when I open the box and there’s no fragrance. It’s supposed to be unscented but sometimes there’s a light but obvious perfumey or floral scent that activates my allergies. I wake up in the middle of the night because I can’t breathe after my cat uses the box. I’m always disappointed when I open the box and it stinks, but I have to use it because I need litter by the time it comes on Subscribe & Save, and it’s too heavy to return. When it comes actually unscented, it works well enough. I use it in my litter robot, and I have to extend cycling to at least 15 min after my cat uses it because it doesn’t clump right away. It will clump, but you have to give it some time, and even at 15 min, sometimes it will break apart in 2-3 pieces. But there’s absolutely no dust, which I’m super happy about (and so is my litter robot), and none of my cats sneeze or have any adverse reactions to it. I did have to slowly introduce my cats to it after switching from Tidy Cats Free & Clean (too much dust and broke my previous litter robot) as they didn’t take to it right away. As far as tracking, there’s some, as with all litter, but it seems to be contained to the litter area. It’s less tracking than my former litter option, and that’s a plus.

This is the best clumping litter in my opinion. It controls odor really well and the clumps are solid and easy to scoop. I love that it’s unscented so it doesn’t overpower the room with unnecessary fragrance. My cat and I are happy!

I wish they made this in a bigger size! We have 3 cats and this helps keep smell at bay. Dust is minimal and there isn’t a scent which is good since cats are sensitive to smells. Tracking is so so, as well as a clay litter will. But seriously I wish they made a bigger size of this!!

This litter is fantastic on many levels. Clumps nice and hard Low dust Low tracking My cats like it and No scent (not sure what other reviewers are talking about that it has a scent. I have a very sensitive nose and smell nothing.) **As a note I tried the Cloud Arm and Hammer because I wanted a truly dust free litter. It IS dust free but it said that it was “lightly scented”. Yikes, it was so strong I would feel like gagging and my whole house smelled like a perfumy weird smell from it. My cats did not seem to like it and their fur smelled constantly of the scent that was added to it. One thing to note is that my vet said a cat should never have scented litter. Their sense of smell is very very keen and if a human can smell it then it is way too strong for a cat.
