Andersen Sash Lock and Keeper Stone Traditional Kit

Replaced all the latches on my Andersen 200 series narroline windows 36x62 inch windows. Had Cape style house built in 1986. Some of the latches had worn and broke. The windows are 34 years old and still in great shape. The new latches actually were metal ones which were cheaper than thinner plastic type replacement.They went in real easy, snugged the windows top and bottom, and sealed the seam at latch. Just like new!Andersen windows a great great product. I was insistent with builder when building the house. He wanted to put in a cheap Fairview wood window.Happily I made the right choice. My neighbor across the street did the same thing. We are the only 2 in the neighborhood who haven't or had to replace our windows. Everyone else in neighborhood has since had their cheap wood windows replaced. 34 years later!

When the latch on my window broke I thought what do I do now. I bought the house 20 years ago with the Andersen windows already installed. The Andersen web site was of very little help in identifying the model number of the window to find a replacement latch. So I tried Amazon. The people who left reviews for this latch I thank you very much!!! Based on the info you included in your reviews it sounded like my window was of the same vintage of being 30 to 25 years old. I bought one from the seller who could deliver next day. It came next day. I was able to install it and the latch works! Happy Day! Now I know my window is locked and my house is safe. One word of caution. This particular latch is metal. There is a similar looking latch on Amazon that reviews said is plastic. The description does not tell you that. I did not think plastic would hold up. So thanks again folks for taking the time to write reviews!

We have the 200 series, double hung Andersen windows. Although it is not an exact replacement for our lock where the pin had broke, it does work fine and our screw holes aligned with this new lock. It's a bit bulkier looking than previous lock but I may be the only one who notices. I put the back catch on backwards and had to turn it around - no big deal though. FYI, when installing, the 2 pieces are placed with the flat sides together.

Couldn’t use regular locks from home depot. Had to get these to replace my old window sash locks. They are pricey but hopefully they will hold up as long as the original ones (40 years)

We purchased a house with old windows and one of the second story window locks was broken. Not only was this a safety concern but it also let in a bit of a draft. We found these while doing a quick search and while not the exact ones that we already had, they are close enough and do the trick. Install was easy and our window is back to being able to lock shut nice and tight.

Had to send back because it won't fit if you have grills on your windows.

These #9069432 were the original metal quality I was looking for and they fit perfectly. Came with painted screws to match. You do have to replace both pieces, the keeper (other half from the latch) is a little taller for this one than the original. It would be too tight of a latch and break something if you tried to replace just the latch portion. I'm ordering a few extra because there's no way I'm using the plastic ones Andersen now sells (#1630020).
