An effective and reliable aid for colitis! Who would think that 2 pectin supplements could replace 9 Balsalazide capsules a day??!! It is SO daunting to deal with colitis' biggest question: "what will my innards do today?" and 9 capsules to effectively manage the loose bowels is such a pain. Because 1 pectin capsule night and morning coats the intestinal track, I have able to forego pharmaceuticals and couldn't be happier.

I love NOW products, this is no exception.

I got this for a friend of mine who claims it cured her hemorrhoids! Apparently, the apple pectin gets rid of blood clots "down there" that cause the problem. She swears by it so what can I say? Certainly worth trying before using some grossly overpriced "big pharma" drug with a lot of side effects.

Good clean product however I empty the contents out of the pill holder as the capsule is not as clean and I try to avoid unnecessary additives.

Love this fiber. I can’t use psyllium (Metamucil) and these pills are very similar. Do what they need to do without side effects. I recommend taking them in evening to avoid daytime GI side effects. Good price too.

This product is gentle and effective. It works very well with psyllium husk and other fibers.

A great product. It worked better than I had expected. It helped me to digest my food. I had been experiencing nausea and some vomiting. Much less of the two by taking one or two capsules before I ate.

Best pectin we ever tried.

15年ほど便秘に悩まされ、いろいろ試してきました。コーラック、スルーラック、タケダ漢方便秘薬、ウィズワンＬ、センナ粉末、３Ａマグネシアなど、下剤は一通り、ビオフェルミン、イージーファイバー、イヌリン、乳糖、酒粕、青汁、味噌汁、乳酸菌サプリ、腸もみ、腹筋、などなど。効果があったのはコーラックだけでした。 一年前に大腸内視鏡検査をしたところ、腸が少し長くスムーズに流れない部分があるとのこと。長年にわたる下剤服用の影響で、腸の内壁は少し黒ずんでました。結局、便秘の解決策はわかりませんでした。 この冬、知人からリンゴをたくさんもらったので毎日食べていたところ、便通が良くなりました。調べてみるとリンゴの食物繊維が便秘に効くと言うので、リンゴが尽きそうなこともあり、こちらを見つけて購入。酸化マグネシウムe便秘薬と併用して、朝と晩に一粒ずつ飲んで、毎日便通があります。出ない日もありますが、翌日二回出ます。 体にいいものですし、効く限り続けていきます。
