I purchased this to replace our old one that was starting to rip over many years of use. After opening, I hung it outside in the sun to 'expand' before putting it on the bed. I needed a 'deep pocket' mattress pad to fit over our 2" memory foam topper. It fit perfectly with room to spare. Very good quality & very comfortable. Highly recommend this product.

We have a day bed with 2 twin mattresses that pulls out to a king sized together. We needed something to try and make it a single king bed and more comfortable for two to sleep on. We purchased a king pillow top mattress pad and this king mattress cover to go over top of the pad and mattresses. It works really well! It would work well on a thick mattress as it has lots of room to fit it on a deep mattress. Ours is quite thin so there's lots of extra fitting space. Its soft enough and I like that it can be thrown in the washing machine. No one has slept on it yet so I can't say anything about sleep comfort but i feel it works for what we need it for, which is occasional guests. Price was reasonable.
