I just wanted a small winch to assist me moving a four wheeled trailer. The Stealth 355TA12 with synthetic rope looked ideal and at a good price. Next day delivery with Prime, thank you. Unboxed and assembled in a matter of minutes. The packaging was good, the quality of the winch appears excellent. Connected to 12 volt battery pulled the rope out a few metres using the slipping clutch and with the wired controller powered the rope in and out. Used the wireless controller after pressing and holding the central button until the red light came on, again powered in and out OK. After reading some of the reviews before purchasing I was concerned about the noise level under power, I was pleasantly surprised how quiet the winch was. Would I recommend this winch, YES All my tests have been carried out under no load conditions, but I have no reservations that this winch will operate exactly the same under load. Manual may need a bit more work, but using common sense this senior citizen had no problems, thank you.

Purchased for the purpose of raising and lowering an antenna mast. As a few have already said it works great but is very noisy. The mast is fixed to the rear of the house and when in use the noise and vibration is very loud inside the property so if you have fussy neighbours keep this in mind when purchasing

Absolutely marvellous wrench

It is definitely a solid build, I would hope for some more holes in the holding plate for the winch, however, I did manage to make it fit to my purpose with an extra drilled hole. It is fairly well priced and really easy to use. I have managed to rip out a cable out of it as the box does not sit super stable ontop and a little push takes it off. So could be an improvement to change the tolerances to make it fit better.

Very hard to find fault at this price ..good finish,solid build,easy to install and even comes with 2 remote controls,as well as the wired contol. Works perfectly,only two minor negatives is that it's a bit noisier than expected and the rubber boot/cover over the wired controller plug is a loose fit ,so as i said,minor gripes. Would i buy another ..yes,without hesitation.

Used on an Ifor Williams trailer to pull 1/2 ton loads up ramps and lower them back down ramps safely. - Perfect.

Bought this and had it professionally fitted into my horsebox to load a 150kg carriage in and out up a steep ramp. Works perfectly, the remote controls are super easy to use and it isn’t as noisy as I expected it to be. It sounds louder on the video then it actually is. My mechanic did recommend running the engine whilst winching as it draws a lot of power but this has not been a problem at all. Really pleased with my purchase.

Bon treuil à priori Essai des la réception pour sortir un véhicule enlisé. Bien que de taille moyenne il est relativement puissant et efficace. J’ai utilisé la telecommande filaire sans problème. Il y a aussi 2 télécommandes sans fils mais pas encore essayées car besoin de piles. Livré en 1 jour avec Prime. Satisfait de mon achat.
