Kilner Facetted Glassware Spaghetti Jar, 74-1/2-Fluid Ounces

We read the reviews and one reason we picked this over other options is absolutely no mentions of it breaking over time. Wow! The glass is so thick and sturdy! We tried it with several of our pastas to be safe. It fits 3 pounds of Great Value spaghetti even while wrapped (we buy in bulk), and fit Kroger angel hair pasta and Great Value fettuccine. There were reviews stating it didn't hold some spaghetti so we thought we'd list what we use. Right now we're leaving the metal interior in that pulls out the pasta. Not sure if we'll be using that. But this is so fancy. The inner box looked damaged but it was just the hinge of the jar coming through the box. We were so impressed how this was wrapped and shipped to prevent damage. I'm sure I'll be getting compliments on this and we absolutely love it. I can't believe how much pasta it holds! I can't believe how heavy duty this jar is! We love it!

I get so many compliments on this spaghetti jar! I have slowly been replacing all my plastic pantry containers to glass containers, and it was harder than I thought to find an airtight jar for spaghetti! This is a very good quality jar, and I love the way you pull up on the metal insert to easily access the noodles. It does take a little finesse to get the noodles in there properly (they need to twist around the metal pole a bit), but not overly difficult. Having that metal insert allows you to more easily grab the amount of noodles you need. Plus I love how the design is reminiscent of the old-fashioned soda straw containers.

Very nice jar and of fairly high quality - not sure why others have said otherwise.Glass is thick and top works well and seals tight.Jar is fairly heavy once filled, as photographed it weighed 5.6 pounds (2.54 kg).Looking at the photos you'll see that there's a lifter in the jar - it works great.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the spaghetti jar.

Works and looks nice. Taller than I thought, but I didn't check the dimensions. Some spaghetti will fall between the cracks of the metal and the glass but it's not designed to be flushed.

This spaghetti jar is amazing! It's made from thick glass, the shape & style bring a rustic warmth to my kitchen. I have other Kilner jars & love them. This spaghetti jar came well wrapped & protected. I couldn't be happier with my purchase & would highly recommend!

Nice glass jar for spaghetti noodles.....looks good on counter too. The inside pull up insert is a nice feature though I can't get all the spaghetti to stay on the ''lift tray.'' Pleased with the product overall.

Is There Anybody OUT THERE!!!! .... .... ....So, I ordered one of these last year for my spag nood's. It really is a great item!!!! I then rediscovered a childhood favorite; "Rose" Brand Egg Nood's and thought.... Hey.... Lets get another Jar.!!!!After hand washing and over night drying, I went to fill the unit and then I then noticed an anomaly.... I am currently in process of returning the item as I can clearly see as I hold the item up to the eye.... GAP-AGE between the gasket and the lip of the Jar!!!! Very Sadly, I Must Now Ship This Unit ALL The Way Back To Europe!!!! Looks like a couple of "Hoops" to jump through.... What else can be done though.When all said is complete.... I shall then at that time inform the "Consuming Public" as to my "FINAL OPINION" on this purchase and that of the Conveyor's dealings within this matter....Stay Tuned, as I shall update with a hopefully "Positive End Review" .... .... ....P.S.
