Q: Will they hold both single and double stack mags?

YES. Up to 16 rounds in my case. Ruger. CZ. Prob a few more rounds.

I think it should ding that you have a 10 round magazine if it is thinner than a 9 mm magazine you could always put a piece of paper towel behind it to make up the difference wish you well hope this helps

Q: Is the metal clip for iwb use removeable? don't need in the way when wearing owb.

The metal clip is removable but I wear these OWB using the metal clip. That way OI don't have to thread a belt through them. Plus people can't actually see what's in the holster.
