Hevvy Build and good clean tone......
This unit performed flawlessly for our first gig and worked very well in the weeks ahead while we used it in the practice room testing it out. The features for the money are very hard to beat and the build quality is impressive in it's weight and composition. The knobs are not overly large or bullet proof but they are solid and smooth operating with very small adjustments yielding noticeable change in tone and volume, etc. The connections for the speaker output, mic in and signal in are just as well made. There are some features on the unit that we are not in need of such as the MP3 and some of the effects so I can't speak much to those. Overall this is a clean, loud and well built PA head that for the money is just the ticket.

Better than I thought. Fan noise is bearable. Sturdy
I hesitated a lot before I made a decision to buy this mixer because there were a lot of complaints about the fan noise. I also considered Pyle but I ended up buying Rockville, a used (very good) one. I was able to confirm that the fan noise was very loud, but I do not know if this is louder than its competitors, but if you want to use it in a small space, this noise would be a problem and I do not recommend it. But if you are going to use it in an open space or in a large space, this level of fan noise would not matter much. The design is simple and it functions well. I think this mixer is quite solid. I also have a pair of Rockville Passive Speakers (12 inch), and this mixer works very well with the speakers.

Nice product for the price. ( Received 7/14/2020 )
First thing I did was check out the usb feature of this head. It worked well. Simple to manipulate. The second thing was to run a Line 6 head through it with a stereo direct out split into two channels on the Rockville RPM45. That worked well. Reproduced the sound from the direct out of the amp nicely. Of course I had to play with the settings of the individual channels I was using, but still sounded better than I expected. I haven't tried a instrument direct yet. Eager to find out what my classical electric will sound like through it. Though this is not a complete review of its capabilities but, I'm satisfied with the product. It's non-complicated, easily portable, affordable and has some power. What more could you want.

What a gem at an amazing price
My old Peavy mixer amp died, and, given the amazing price and good reviews, it seemed worth giving the Rockville product a try. I am beyond pleased. It does more than my old Peavy mixer amp did and is just right for a small band. I didn't realize that an MP3 player was included. The player is excellent, with easy controls. The unit is light and easy to handle. Just finished our first small performance and it was a breeze. The audience seemed to like the sound too!

Worked Awesome for 5 piece small band...
Worked Awesome for 5 piece small band... Very powerfull little amp. We plugged in an 8 channel mixer and was able to handle 5 instruments and 3 singers no problem. First use out of the box it was on medium volume (as load as we all could deal with in the space we were in) for 6 hours of practice and did not even get warm to the touch...Not sure how it's longevity will be but I think as long as we don't over tax it, it should last for a good long time (I hope) we shall see... It seems very rugged and the material it's covered with seems thick and looks as though it could take a beating and keep on going but again that probably will have more to do with how it's taken care of. All in all I would recommend this for an inexpensive alternative for a small get together or small band situation... Cheers All...

Surprisingly powerful
I used this amp as a backup for a DJ gig. It was very loud and crystal clear. No distortion. Although tone controls are rudimentary they are more than adequate for the job. I was very impressed. You can load a boat lid into of songs onto memory stick and just plug it in.

This is a MONO system with two outputs in parallel (Not Stereo - Not two output amps) I tested it with two completely different USB sound tracks. Both tracks came mixed equally on both speaker outputs. Did not function well at 4ohms load created by an 8ohm speaker in each output -the overload protection cut in at halfway on the master volume. (The peak power rating of 2400 is not realistic) It works with beautiful sound on 8 or 16 ohms using only one output connection or 4 speakers in parallel/series config. Crystal clear and about 200w usable power (run it up to 75% full volume with no problem with 140w speakers)

Control pots seem to have no backing and to be mounted directly on the pc board and and gives a flimsy, not secure feel. Otherwise, functions ok.

Replaced my small church pa with this. Works well except for the overly loud fan that runs continuously? Design flaw for sure!

Works great easy to set up. Impedance with speakers was tricky at first and fan is quite loud.
