A big help
Overall quite comfortable, a bit snug under the arms but I guess that makes them so effective. I like the material and length, too. These are a big upgrade from a previous brand I used that were super bulky under the pits.

Life-changing!
I’ve suffered from hyperhydrosis since I was 15 years old. I spent my teenage summers in too-warm hoodies and have tried pills that dried out my mouth, and deodorants that irritated my skin. The deep embarrassment and discomfort caused by perpetually wet armpits had influenced almost every aspect of my life. From low physical self-esteem to feeling limited in my shopping choices, overacting sweating has always been on my mind.Enter this t-shirt. I was skeptical, to be sure. Upon receiving the shirt, I realized it was meant to fit tightly. It’s not too small, but it’s definiteky tight enough that I wouldn’t wear it alone (I’m a curvy person). But! When worn under shirts/sweaters, this thing does it’s job! It fits nicely under my arms, which almost makes me feel more secure/almost tucked in. It’s a pleasant feeling that helps - I tend to sweat more when my underarms are cold because of wet clothing. For the first couple days I wore it with dark clothing in case it didn’t work, and it almost seemed unreal to see no wet marks under my arms develop through the day. Today, my third day wearing it, I risked my heather grey sweater that I had never worn. It’s now 6 hours into my day, and I am dry as can be. It is seriously like-changing and I cannot wait to buy more shirts and re-assess my wardrobe!!! It will be insane choosing garments because I actually like them and not just because the swear won’t show up!!

No longer self-conscious about sweat stains.
I discovered the Thompson Tee through a hyperhidrosis support group. I didn't have very high expectations of the product but figured I would give it a try since I was sitting in wet shirts for the last 15 years of my life and feeling self-conscious about it. This product works very well. It effectively blocks most sweat rings and only shows minor stains around 12pm, which dries rapidly (by 3pm). I'm no longer sitting in a wet shirt and freezing and I do not feel like I have a wet shirt when it is on. The shields within the shirt are very effective at trapping the moisture and it is very comfortable to wear. I have started wearing a lot more of my brightly colored shirts. One thing to note: the bottom hem is unraveling and threads are hanging everywhere after only wearing it for only two weeks. I washed it about 4 times since that time. It is more annoying than anything and I usually tuck the shirt into my pants so it isn't unsightly. It works very well for what it is supposed to do but does not block sweat entirely. The sweat that does come through is hardly noticeable. The shields also takes awhile to dry out after washing or sweating on them. Not a big deal but if you have humidity in the house the shirt may still be wet from the day before and require a dry in the dryer. I love it and will be buying a few more to add to my rotation. It is see-through so don't expect to wear it by itself like the model in the photo.

My expectations may have been a little high, but a good product.
As someone who deals with excessive sweating I was really excited to try this product. Of course I was skeptical as I feel like I've tried just about everything aside from surgery and been thoroughly disappointed, but based on the "guaranteed to block 100% of sweat" I decided to give it a try.I am a motivational speaker and so I'm not kidding when I say I've been looking for something that works for a long time. My best option has been disposable nursing pads attached to my undershirt with electrical tape. Very uncomfortable and annoying but it works. Compared to that this shirt was comfortable.Unfortunately within a short time the upper part of the underarm was wet and I absolutely HATED the scoop neck, it was so wide that it didn't lay right around my shoulders and I ended up using safety pins to hold it in place. Its possible a smaller size would not have been so wide but the fit overall was really good so it's hard to say.Disappointed? A bit. I think the advertising is a little misleading but it does seem the idea could possibly work better with a thicker longer pad with a slightly longer sleeve and a little less scoop on the neck for a more natural fit. I think I might try a men's and see if the longer sleeve and tighter neck yields better results.Recommend it? Sure. Just don't expect 100% sweat block. Maybe closer to 75%. In the meantime I would use this for everyday needs but sadly I'll probably have to stick to nursing pads for the big to-do's:).

Amazing
I was sweating through my light colored mandatory scrubs while at nursing school clinicals and it was kind of embarrassing, this product completely stopped it. I ordered an XL, which I thought would be a tad big, but it was super tight.

Not enough for me
I bought it hoping to keep the sweat away and the smell as well. It didn't work for me in either aspect, I'm a really heavy sweater and by the end of my work day I managed to sweat through the armpit area. You couldn't see the sweat on my shirt but I was not dry or comfortable wearing it. The fabric actually made me sweat more and that makes me sad I was hoping this would work for me.

Unfortunately it does not work....
I wanted to like this shirt but unfortunately it has some design flaws.Pros - the fit is nice, very flattering, and the material is soft.Cons - the material under the arm pit feels like an old school cloth diaper. This could be fine, but it absolutely would not dry no matter how many times I put it through the dryer. (No, my dryer is fine...it drys all my other clothes without a problem) Because the sweat pad would never dry fully the next time I wore it and started to sweat it immediately started to stink with wretched B.O. which defeats the point of me wearing it. The material also started to pill after only a couple wears. I'm sorry, I can't recommend and I'm past the point of returning them.
