For the price the quality sucks.. The plugpoint stopped working within a month as it could barely handle 8A continuously. The wires look very thin and it looks they are cutting corners and not using better quality. A regular carrefour / lulu boughy extension works so much better and has thicker wires than this

Was really wanting this to be a good item, as pictured and described, and was relieved when it came as shown. Needed to extend power and keep weather tight in area where plants are watered, and it just so happened the UAE received heavy rain a few weeks after my purchase. True to design, it kept out water, the sand that comes and sticks to everything after a rain, and general dust and debris. As some have mentioned, the socket area is tight, but most cables I've tried have fit. The lid closure and locking tabs do require some muscle to close around the cable, but the end result is a good water resistance, dust resistent enclosure to protect the plugs. Very satisfied with this purchase.
