Inspiring Women Doll, Ida B. Wells Collectible with Blue Dress & Newspaper Accessory

Adding this to my collection was a breeze. She is beautifully designed and styled. Her attire is perfect, with hair and background to match the period in time.

Barbie's tribute to investigative journalist and civil rights leader Ida B. Wells is just my style - instead of long blonde hair, pink, and glitter, we have short cropped hair, a serious visage, and a sober black dress with collar and cuffs. She's perfect! It's a good likeness of Ms. Wells and she comes with a historically accurate dress and mini copy of the Memphis Free-Speech, the newspaper she co-owned. I've kept my doll in box, but from other people's photos I know she's on a fully articulated curvy body. She's just gorgeous and is one of my favorites from the Inspiring Women line. A great gift for a collector or a child who loves history!

She’s so beautiful!! The details are nice, she comes with a certificate too. Clothing looks very authentic for her time. I’m somewhat of a collector, and I’m gathering them up for a Black History Month display at work.

I have collected the Barbie Inspiring Women series to hand down to my nieces or nephews for a small piece of education. These are great to display in your kid's room, living room, or office. Several people will want to learn who these famous people are and what they accomplished in history. They are beautifully made and nicely packaged. Purchased for my daughter as a collector doll. Very pretty. Fabric of clothing is pretty and soft. Great Value for money. If you know someone who collects dolls, this is a must have in that collection.

I really like this one. She has the large busted, full figure, 11 jointed body, no make up. Victorian boots are awesome, dress is two pieces, hair is up in two sections, back bun and front pouff. Stand is the under skirt kind.
